Silver Cross uses exclusively woven fabrics that are made with recycled plastic bottles (The seat alone boasts 35 bottles!). The Reef’s seat is one of the stroller's spotlight features as it comes outfitted with Silver Cross’ revolutionary Genius Harness System.

This 5-point harness uses magnets that clip together for a less fussy fastening experience. Every parent knows that wrangling a wiggling baby can be challenging at times, this feature will help get baby strapped in a lot easier on those difficult days.

Behind the seat is an adjuster that slides the harness and headrest up and down, resizing them together in a split second.

Additionally, the seat is fully reclinable, comes with an adjustable footrest, and can be faced towards you or outwards to the world.

Comfortably Convenient

Silver Cross loads the Reef with a number of must-have features for both comfort and convenience:

• BUMPER BAR: Babies can hold onto the front bumper bar which is made from vegan leather for a durable and comfortable grip. The bar also detaches for better access when loading and unloading your little one. 

• RAIN OR SHINE: The Reef comes with a rain cover so you can get out and about in inclement weather without worrying about disturbing baby. When the sun is shining, the stroller’s UPF 50+ canopy will protect your little one from the harsh rays. For extra protection, you can even utilize the sun sail extension, which pulls out over the stroller’s handlebar to ensure your baby’s whole body is kept cool and in the shade. 

• FRESH AIR: The rear of the canopy has a flip-up flap that allows fresh air to flow freely through the stroller. 

• WONDER WHEELS: Lockable, “never-wear” wheels are built to last and make sure the stroller doesn’t move when stationary.

Silver Cross designed the Reef as a 5-in-1 stroller to be used in the following configurations:

1. Stroller Seat: Facing towards mom and dad.

2. Stroller Seat: Facing outwards, towards the world.

3. Reef Bassinet: Silver Cross produced the world’s first baby carriage back in 1877, so it makes sense they would make their stroller compatible with their high-end bassinet. It’s fully ventilated, anti-bacterial, and hypoallergenic with uber-soft Bamboo fabrics for the perfect sleep every time. Best of all, the bassinet is approved for overnight sleeping, so you can head out for the whole day and into the evening, knowing your baby is safe and comfortable. 

4. Reef Newborn Pod: An alternative to the Reef Bassinet is the Reef Newborn Pod. It’s basically a miniature cocoon for babies that fits perfectly on top of the fully-reclined stroller seat.

5. Car Seat: The Reef is also compatible with Silver Cross’ Reef Car Seat and 3rd party models. To attach the car seat, you’ll need to purchase an adapter.
