Avoid if you have to take apart and put together frequently

This “travel” crib is so cumbersome and impractical to put together that it doesn’t really function well for travel. The only good travel related feature is that it’s light. That’s it. It can double as a playpen with the side coming down which is nice but who wants to use their bed as a playpen. It’s going to be one or the other. I’m so disappointed with how difficult this crib is to assemble and disassemble. We put this on out snuggle bugz registry to use it for an RV trip with our infant (there aren’t a lot of options for travel beds for an infant who isn’t a newborn). The problem is that to take it apart and put it together multiple times a day for night and naps takes so long. The legs are difficult to put on.Piecing the upper part together and putting the mesh on is slow. You have to disassemble the thing entirely to get it into the bag, they couldn’t have made the bag a little longer so that you could get it in with the long bars intact?!? The absolute worst and slowest part of assembly is “locking” the mattress in place into the crib. The mechanism is so cumbersome and finicky. It took me 10 minutes and I had to be inside the crib fiddling with these plastic rings trying to piece them together. And you have to do this every time if you don’t want the crib open inside your living space all the time!! Save your money. Buy something else. Anything else.
