Look for another compact stroller

I love Silver cross, my mum used to use with my siblings and I. My sister had a POP stroller, so did I. I never write reviews, but every single review I have seen of this stroller no one talks about the Cons. This stroller can only handle smooth surfaces. Airport, malls, asphalt, concrete with no cracks/heaving. I went to the Zoo and the concrete was raised by 1/2” had to tip the stroller back on two wheels to carry on. This is the same on sidewalks, it can not go up the sidewalk, it stops and throws the stroller forward. This also happened in Banff there was some cobbled areas among interlock, it flew the stroller forward on two wheels, thank goodness she was buckled in. We went to see Santa, and there was small gravel paths, I had to drag the stroller backwards. Even grass was too difficult for it. I know this is not an off roading stroller. But, my other two compact, umbrella strollers can handle these surfaces. The magnetic harness seems like a great idea. Except the magnets are not strong enough. If you have a baby that is weighing, they pop apart before you can put the crotch part on top. This happens over and over again. My baby is under 1yrs old. I can’t imagine her as a toddler. I love that it’s super lightweight, it folds compact. Love the peekaboo window, easy to recline, love the bumper bar and once folded it stands alone and easy to roll behind you. The canopy is big, excellent sun coverage. But, as I mentioned, it’s only good on flat, smooth surfaces. If you know this before purchasing you will love it.
