Product reviews

    It's Ok.

Do you need to spend $339 on a highchair? Well that depends on how much you value your hard earned money. I haven't used the \"Siesta folding option\" so I cannot speak to the quality of that.

    Pros:

    Yes

this high chair is made of impeccable quality

as are all other Peg Perego products [we have the Viagio Carseat and the Book Pop Up Stroller].

The seat is made of leather so very easy to wipe clean.

    Looks nice.

    Cons:

The locking mechanism could use some work. Yes it \"locks\" but my 14 month old can push it easily. This could be due to the highchair being on hardwood instead of tile.

The lock buttons are very easily reached by my daughter while eating and she loves to touch them especially when she has peanut butter and jelly. The peanut butter and jelly gets stuck in the locking buttons making it more difficult to lock and unlock the wheels.

Although the seat is made of leather

there are many crevices that food and crumbs get trapped in.

I have only stored it in the fully collapsed setting once because I found it to be unsafe around my 14 month old who likes to hold onto it.

The tray is supposed to lock in place while in use

but if I don't slam it into the locked position then my daughter is able to kick it out of place. It has never fully come off when she kicked it but she then gets distracted and wants to play with it.

I bought this with the intention of having it last for 2 or more kids and I have no doubt that it definitely will last. I also have no doubt that the highchair from Ikea can do the same thing [minus the siesta option] as this high chair for a fraction of the price.

Great looking chair but has quality issues and customer service is inadequate

I waited until my little one turned one before leaving a review. We have now used this chair for 6 months [closer to 5 months of use - more on that below]. I added this to my registry because I love the modern look of it and because it folded and could be put out of the way when not in use which for small spaces is fantastic! I love the cushy seat

that it's removable and washable and the black and white colors.

However we've had issues since we started using it: the handlebars holding the tray were too far apart and required force and two hands squeezing them together in order to insert and remove the tray. When you're handling a baby with one hand and need both hands to take off and put the tray back on

this soon became a hassle and an inconvenience. That's definitely not how it looks in the product videos.

The folding part of the chair - worked great

but again there were manufacturing issues with the hooks holding the tray on the back of the chair for storage

which made the tray slide and continuously fall off unexpectedly.

Overall...this is a great looking chair and if quality control was there

it could be an amazing chair. For the price though I didn't expect to have to deal with the issues we did and dealing with customer service was a hassle. Getting a folding high-chair was a must for us and that feature works only partially. If you get it on a mega-sale

get the chair otherwise look for something else for your money.

Don't waste your time looking at anything else!

I can't say how much I love this highchair. It's so clever and innovative and the fabric is so soft and luxurious. Truly feels like a design marvel with how smoothly everything works. It's pricey but totally worth it.

The various recline positions means you can use it very early on. I keep my baby in for playtime so he can be with me in the kitchen. The wheels make it so easy to move around.

It folds up easily if you want to put it away.

Another reviewer said the tray is hard to put it - she isn't using it correctly. There is a lever that you push and it lines up the tray perfectly - it's actually a safety feature so the child can't push the tray off themselves. People need to read the manuals before assuming things don't work properly!

This is easily one of my favourite pieces of gear. My friend has one and her little guy has been using it for 2 years and it still looks like new.

    Nice Chair

It's a stylish compact high chair. Has a lot of features like many reclining positions

the ability to fold up and wheels that lock. Somewhat expensive for the short amount of time my baby is actually in it everyday.

  5. star star star empty_star empty_star 3.0 out of 5 stars

    It's nice!

I really like the look of the peg perego siesta. I love that the seat reclines for young babies and that it folds down so compactly. My only concern is that I am unable to get the tray on and off with one hand like it suggests. We have not even used the tray [as our baby is only a few months old] and it is super sticky to get in and out. It also does not fit nicely into the holes on the chair. I have to line the tray up to the holes by pushing in one of the arms on the chair. If I did not love the look and it's ability to fold so compactly

I would have taken this high chair back. It's a bit pricey for the tray not to run smoothly.

    Best Highchair

We love the Siesta. It cleans so easily with just a wipe and is stylish too. Our baby has the comfiest seat at the dinner table! Worth the investment.

    Total recommendation!

This was another unexpected gift and we absolutely love our high chair! It has been great during all stages of growing. Love all the different ways to adjust for your lil one. Only small issue is the creases in the seat can make it frustrating to remove food and liquids. However it is night the whole seat pad is removeable for easy in depth washing!

    Worth spent

This high chair can recline and has poket back side that I can put my baby's stuff. And also my baby can play on high chair. She could sleep too. I can easily clean the chair when my baby make them dirty!

    Attractive High Chair

We bought this after reading a ton of reviews online

as it was consistently one of the best-reviewed chairs. It has lived up to the reviews. It's an attractive chair

but it's also practical. We used the recline function to allow our baby to sit at the table with us when he was still getting the hang of sitting up on his own

which was great. It's a good height for those with higher dining tables

and can be adjusted up and down easily. Getting our son in and out is very easy

as the bar is attached to the chair

rather than the tray. Great purchase!

    Great high chair!

So far we love this chair. My son is only 6 weeks old but he loves sitting in it while we eat dinner. It was great from day 1

as he was only 5 lbs and it was one of the few things we could safely put him down in

  11. star star star empty_star empty_star 3.0 out of 5 stars

    Too large

My daughter is 4.5 months old and not yet eating solids so we haven't started using it yet. But I do have some complaints already. Firstly

the highchair is very large. So you need a lot of space for it. On the plus size

that probably means it is very stable. The other issue is that while one of the features is that it can recline so younger babies can sit in it

in reality it doesn't work so well reclined. I placed my daughter in it and when reclined there is too much space between the crotch area and the back of the seat bottom

so she just slouches in it. So I would not recommend using it reclined. Had I known these things before

I may have considered a different highchair. However

we bought it in cacao which is a beautiful colour

and it appears that it will be easy to clean when we do use it so there are some benefits.

    Best highchair!

    Love Thisbe high chair! Beautiful

modern and easy to clean! I have recommended it to all my pregnant friends!

  14. star star star star empty_star 4.0 out of 5 stars

    Good but hard to clean

    Really great high chair

does everything you need it to do. It's comfortable for the little one and has a tray that is removable so it's easier to clean.

What I don't like: It is very hard to clean!! While the leather makes it easier to wipe down

there are so many crevasses in and around the seat that it's a daunting task after every meal. The straps are also screwed in. We actually changed them to wing nuts so that we could take them off and clean them in the dishwasher.

  15. star star star star star 5.0 out of 5 stars

    Great chair

Very happy with this purchase. the reclining feature allowed it to be used right from birth. It was assembled out of the box

and is very easy to use. We have a small condo

so its great that it folds. Downside

it has lots of crevasses that need wiping after certain meals.

  16. star star star star star 5.0 out of 5 stars

Don't think twice - this highchair is the best!

Love this highchair!! We have been using this highchair since our son was 4 months old. With the recline function I was able to put him in there while I was doing other things in the house. The fabic is very easy to whipe down

and the removable tray makes it easy to clean. It may not look as modern as some of the other highchairs offered out there

but hands down I would buy this chair again if I had to. Well worth the price and I would recommend it to any new mom!

  17. star star star star star 5.0 out of 5 stars

    Love this High Chair

I love all the features of this high chair. It folds up for easy storage or to throw in the car to take to family functions. The tray is not too high for my tiny girl. It wipes down so easily. I love that it has so many height adjustments. The only downfall I have found is that the front wheels don't swivel so it can be awkward to maneuver at times. Other then that It is amazing!

  18. star star star star star 5.0 out of 5 stars

    Our best baby purchase

This high chair is hands down my favourite baby purchase.

Our daughter used it from two months onwards

with the reclining feature in the beginning. It allowed me to have her in kitchen while I got things done

but off the floor and away from our dog who was still getting used to having an infant around. The wheels and breaking system allow us to easily move it around our kitchen so our daughter can watch what we're doing. It was nice to have her at the table with us when we were eating from the very beginning.

    It cleans amazingly well

although when in an upright position there are some folds in the cover that you need to be mindful of. We have the cacao colour making it inconspicuous in our kitchen

    which is what I wanted.

I like how the post between the child's legs is attached to the chair and not the tray

and how the tray stores at the bottom of the chair if not in use. Several of our friends with children have admired these features as well when they visited our house. We don't fold it often

but that is a nice option too.

This may cost more than average for a high chair

but with all these features and for a product we use multiple times a day

it is well worth the price. Highly recommend.

    Awesome high chair!

Our son loves this high chair! Wish we bought it sooner. He likes to be at \"eye level\" with his parents at dinner time and seems VERY comfortable. It stores so easily as well

and has so many awesome features. Very easy to clean.

Very few cons: straps are screwed in so they need to be unscrewed to wash [or you can spot clean]. Also

wheels can stick a little bit so it takes some manoeuvring.

    Worth the money!

My husband and I bought this when our little one was only 3 months old. We loved that it reclined as far back as it dose and my favourite part is how low to the ground it goes. We used it as a play chair also and just put toys on the tray. She is now 17 months old and we have one on the way and it's in perfect co dition still! It is super easy to clean

adjust and move. Very happy with this purchase.

    Awesome chair

Once again you get what you pay for! This is a awesome chair

    Folds easy. Cleans easy

and comfy for little ones. It is also easy to transport if need be. Overall a awesome product one again

  24. star star star star star 5.0 out of 5 stars

Wish we would have got it sooner!

This is an excellent high chair! I read reviews before I purchased it and was a little worried because I read a couple that stated it was hard to clean and hard to move... they must have fixed these problems because I have had no issue with it! Easy to wipe down and steer with the back wheels. It reclines which would be awesome for a younger baby. Part of the deciding factor for us was that it can be stored without taking up much space

and we do plan on storing it for our next baby. It's also a very classy looking high chair! Well worth the price.

    Another great Peg product

Our daughter is on the small side so took her some time to properly fit in the chair with the tray being pretty high and even now

she's still got the straps as small as they can go. The chair is slightly bulky and find it difficult to maneuver around the table etc. but is very sturdy in design. The chair is durable and easy to clean and I love that you can disassemble the tray! We don't use the recline at this point

not sure if many people do

but perhaps we will as she gets older. It's sleek and our daughter seems to be quite comfortable playing and eating in her high chair. Most Peg products are pricey but

am a believer you get what you pay for with most of their products.

    More than a highchair

So easy to move around and to clean. Baby can even sleep in the chair

    comfortably.

Great chair that grows with your baby

I love this high chair. I wish I would have bought it sooner then 6 months as it is great for baby to recline back and be comfortable. My daughter never gets fussy while in this chair.

I love everything about this product but I wish the front wheels would swivel to make moving it easier.

    Comfy seat

easy to clean and seat height adjustment is great since we have a high table. Baby has been sitting with us at dinner since 3 months of age and seems very comfortable.

  30. star star star star empty_star 4.0 out of 5 stars

    Great high chair!

Although the price may seem steep when compared to other available high chairs on the market - you really do get what you pay for with this chair. Not only does it look great

    it's user friendly

    compact

    easy to clean and

    most importantly

our baby seems very comfortable in it!

  31. star star star star star 5.0 out of 5 stars

    another quality Peg product

after not loving the latest Peg stroller... I can say that I love this high chair and it is spectacular... it's not as bulky as the Prima Papa or Best Diner or TATA MIA.... which is nice in a smaller kitchen or for some people that don't like the high chair to be a focal point of their kitchen :] The colours are a perfect change from their brown and cream gender neutral pallet... love the \"Mela\" green one!

the functions of the recline is great from birth to toddler.... the adjustable seat height is great for sitting at a breakfast island or at a regular kitchen table. Also the locking mechanism is a great change instead of stubbing your toes on the wheel locks this is hand locking push buttons instead [awesome]!

I've had to remove the seat fabric completely after a lunch mishap... and it was easy to do and easy to clean the fabric. One thing that wasn't fun was that the straps got dirty also so i had to unscrew them but it was easy to do and redo.

the high chair table is easy to wash and fits in the dishwasher better then the bigger Peg highchairs as the eating surface is slightly smaller.

    LOVE LOVE LOVE!

    great!

This is a great all around highchair. Easy to move around

easy to clean and looks great. Also like the recline option

when baby was younger [3-4 months] she could still sit in the chair and join us at meals or while i was cooking.
