Great but....

Loved this product when my baby first started eating solid foods but after a few hot foods were given I noticed a funny smell leeching into the food. Something about the bowl changed the flavour of the food a bit. I did further research and there seem to be similar reviews. Basically silicone can have instances where it absorbs and retains smells/flavours. I loved the spoon and fact that it has a lid but makes me nervous now that it changes the taste of food.
