5 Reasons Why We Love The Silver Cross Wave

Did you know that the Silver Cross Brand was the OG of baby prams?
It's true! The brand has been around since 1877-- even King George VI was toted around in one of their prams.
Silver Cross remains based in Yorkshire England, but lucky for you the brand is now available here in Canada at Snuggle Bugz.

You'll love the SC Coast and the ultra-compact Jet, but at the top of their line is the Wave. It is is equipped with luxurious premium finishes that are fit for a Prince or at least a Kardashian.
Khloe has been seen out and about with daughter True in her Silver Cross chariot.

Can a stroller be pretty? This one sure is!
If you are considering the Wave as the stroller for your family than you’ve come to the right place.

Here are 5 reasons why we just LOVE the luxurious Silver Cross Wave.

Talk about flexibility.
Add some second seat adapters and the Wave can easily transform into MANY configurations—30 to be exact.
Quick release handles to move the seat around ensure that no stroll will ever be boring. The one handed multi-recline and adjustable footrest allow you to get the perfect fit with each configuration.
We love that toddler seat and bassinet can be positioned up high so that you can stay close to baby and steal those sweet kisses easily.

We just talked pretty—but let's now talk practical.
  • Pop-out sun visor on the the bassinet
  • Pop-out shade on the toddler seat

Both canopies are UPF 50+ which offer a great deal of protection and comfort for baby.

There are many premium strollers on the market to choose from but many of them require additional accessories sold separately– but not the Wave.
You can carry a newborn and an older sibling in the Wave by using just what comes in the box. Talk about the FULL package!

We are loving the in-box inclusions like a cup holder, reversible seat liner [hand wash only], a boot cover foot muff for both the toddler seat AND the bassinet, 2 insect nets, and 2 rain covers.
Plus, the leatherette accents and magnetic clips and details really make this stroller feel luxe—we’ve tried to highlight them in the images seen here.

Ventilated for ultimate airflow? Check! Check!

The Wave has two points of ventilation in the hard bottom, sleep safe, natural bamboo lined bassinet.

Since maternity leave was made for walkin’ we think this feature was “cool” enough to make our top 5 list.

See what we did there?
Might as well get used to hearing those kind of Dad jokes!

We really could go on and on about the Wave so we’ve kind of turned #5 into a mishmash of the additional features that we know you will appreciate.
Let’s call this category – quality.
The Wave has...

  • Magnesium and aluminum frame which means it is light but heavy duty all at the same time
  • Dynamic suspension for a smooth ride
  • Lockable swivel front wheels which are great on rough terrain
[7.5 in the front + 11 in the back]

We’ve referenced the bassinet and the toddler seat throughout this post—so we should probably give you a few stats on those to help you complete your research on Silver Cross.

The included toddler seat has a 5-point safety harness and can hold up to 55 lbs. which means the Wave can truly grow with your family and can hold even your biggest kid.
For comparison sake, the UPPAbaby Vista in-box toddler seat can accommodate 50 lbs. and most other brands tap out at around 45 lbs.

The only small thing we would change about the Wave [ if we could] would be a slight modification to the hard-bottom basket. It can hold up to 11 lbs. of groceries and baby stuff—but we do wish it was slightly larger.
