The RadianRXT is a highly versatile car seat that could be the only seat you’ll ever need. It comfortably seats rear-facing children from 5-45 lbs, forward-facing children from 22-65 lbs in 5-point harness, then converts to a booster for children up to 120 lbs. It’s built for strength and safety with a steel alloy frame, reinforced sidewalls, adjustable head support and our patented SafeStop® energy absorbing harness. EPS foam surrounds the child’s head and body to provide complete side impact protection. Our unique SuperLATCH system makes installation easy. The RadianRXT is NCAP crash tested, the industry benchmark for verifying child seat performance in severe accident conditions, and the only car seat rated for LATCH use with a child up to 80 lbs. The RadianRXT sits low on a vehicle seat for easy child boarding, features memory foam padding and infant support pillows. This seat is great! It has so many awesome features you can't find in other seats. It is alittle more money than some seats, but totally worth it. I would reconmend this seat to everyone. Fits great in cars, able to have 3 across, or 2 seats and still have an adult sit on the same row too! Super easy for kids to climb in theirselves as it is low to the bench. Comes in many colors/patterns. Very durable fabric, easy to clean. Can carry as a backpack, great for people on the go in the airports! Soo many more things to say about this seat, awesome! We really like the Diono - have 2 of them in the Van. They are rear facing for now and snug as a bug. However - tried the RF in a 2001 CRV and they have a LARGE foot print, hubby couldn't drive safely (he is over 6ft). They almost seemed too reclined. Great in the Van easy to get them in and out of especially with a three year old in the VERY back - I am able to easily reach over them to reach him. I installed this seat in our minivan with no problems. I got a super tight rear facing install in about 5 minutes. My 2 year old son LOVES his new seat. It does take up a lot of room though - I can see how it might not fit rear facing in a smaller vehicle. Hopefully the new Diono wedge will fix that problem for other people.
