The RadianR100 is a highly versatile car seat that could be the only seat you’ll ever need. It comfortably seats rear-facing children from 5-40 lbs, forward-facing children from 20-65 lbs in 5-point harness, then converts to a booster for children up to 100 lbs. Built for strength and safety, the RadianR100 has a steel alloy frame, reinforced sidewalls, SafeStop® energy absorbing harness, thick EPS foam panels for side impact protection and our unique SuperLATCH system for easy installation. The RadianR100 is NCAP crash tested, the industry benchmark for verifying child seat performance in severe accident conditions, and rated for LATCH use with a child up to 65 lbs. The R100 sits low on a vehicle seat for easy child boarding and with expandable sides and a longer seat bottom there plenty of room and comfort for your growing child. Option to add up to 4 cup holders (sold separately). It also folds flat for travel and storage, has a 10 year life, and offers amazing safety, comfort and convenience your child won’t outgrow.

We bought 2 of these to be able to fit 3 carseats in the back seat. They are narrow and well made. A tad heavy when you need to remove them or move them around, but an excellent option. I didn't spend the extra money for the higher end models, and I don't regret it at all. NOTE: We currently have a graco snugride in between two radian R100 seats and they fit easily in the back of our focus hatch back. (Posted on 3/11/13)Quality Price Value - Worth it Review by sewilcox

I wish I had bought this seat earlier. My 3 year old was towering out of her britax and close to booster seat height and weight but I wasn't comfortable with switching her yet. This car seat will allow us to continue harnessing her for a while yet. She finds it easy to get in and help with her straps. Very happy!! This is the BEST car seat we've ever bought! We actually got a second one because we love it so much. My hubby loves the excellent quality build and grandma loves the easy straps. We previously purchased an Eddie Bauer car seat and noticed that it was just poor quality and very hard to get in and out. My son is so much more comfy in this seat!
