My favorite feeding pillow
Before getting this pillow I tried both a boppy-style and using my snoogle twisted around. My brest friend was much more comfortable to use. The flat top was great - with the boppy style, my baby kept rolling down towards me off the pillow, and then she would lose her feeding position. The pillow stayed in place because it was clipped on which was also great.

Helpful at times
This pillow, although sometimes helpful, can be a bit of a pain when baby is screaming and I am attaching clips. It does provide good support but being tall I find I still need to prop it up with more pillows.

Kind of a hassle
My breast friend comes in great patterns and is firm but it is a hassle to use. My little guy was really gassy when he was a newborn and needed to be burped a lot while feeding. My son would be screaming while I fumbled with the clips and the wrap around arm to remove the pillow so I could reposition my so for a good burp, then I would have to get the pillow back on once he had settled. I also found that I couldn't get the pillow tight enough around my body. I ended up buying a different pillow although I have gone back to using my breast friend occasionally now that my son is older and less gassy.

Not good for c sections
I read a lot of really great reviews for this pillow and decided to get this one instead of the traditional ones. I ended up having a c section and couldn't use this because the hard foam dug into my incision so it was uncomfortable to use. In the 3 months since baby, i have only used it a handful of times because I still find it uncomfortable due to my c section scar. Keeping it around for baby #2 though and hopefully I'll be able to use it then.

Great Breastfeeding Aid!
Love this pillow and use it through the night every night when my little one wakes up to feed. My husband used it a lot in the early days when our little guy would want to be cuddled endlessly and there was a good chance we were going to fall asleep with him there. This pillow is a backsaver, but beware that your cover will lose a ton of colour in its first wash.

A lifesaver
A good nursing pillow is key, especially during those first few months when everything is cumbersome and awkward. This one is made of stiff foam so the baby doesn't slip between the pillow and your body. It also clips on the back to avoid the pillow from slipping away. This pillow was a lifesaver when it came to breastfeeding.

Essential for the early days
This pillow was incredibly helpful for me in the early days of breastfeeding. It gives the baby great support so that you can work on finding breastfeeding positions that work best for you.

Not for me
The quality of this product is good, but I found that it didn't work for me at all. I didn't want to spend time wrapping it around my body and attaching the clips every time that baby wanted to feed (which was often, especially in the first few weeks). I prefer the crescent-shaped pillows that don't go around the back, and I used throw pillows to support my lower back.
