How do you get your children to understand when it's time to get up? SIMPLE "stay in bed until you see the sun!"
This updated version of the Gro Clock uses fun images of the stars and sun to communicate when to go back to sleep and when it's time to get up. Due to popular request, this version of the Gro Clock has a new feature allowing parents to choose whether or not to display the digital clock during the usual ‘stars to sun’ countdown. For older children, they can now start to learn digital time, as well as look for the arrival of the sun!
The Gro Clock helps to encourage children to stay in bed longer, which means more sleep for them and more sleep for you!

Our son is 3 and understands the concept of only getting up when he sees the sun. Unfortunately, he doesn't have the patience to wait. :)Price Value Quality
We set the "sun" for 6:30, but he usually gets up at 6:15. On the few mornings when he's slept until after 6:30, he's been very proud/excited to come show us that the "sun" is up! It's a very neat concept, just takes time. Even when they outgrow the sun feature, it's still a stylish clock that they can continue to use. Love this clock!! My 20 month old caught on quickly, and stopped waking up at 5:30/6AM within days of starting to use it. We'll see how she does when she transitions to a real bed that she can climb out of herself. I do agree it is pricey...but for a bit more sleep, it has been worth it. I bought this clock to hopefully teach our two and a half daughter to stay in bed in the morning until at least 7. This clock is amazing after using it for 2 nights, it became part of our bedtime and naptime routine to say bye bye to the sun and see the star appear and our daughter stays in bed until the sun comes back on the clock. I am so so happy that I bought this product for my 3 1/2 year old son. He gets so excited about seeing the sun on the clock in the morning. He hasn't gotten out of bed before the sun appears on the clock. This concept is working amazingly for us! Highly recommended! Worth the high price tag in my opinion. My 3 year old recently started waking up and looking out the window and saying "the sun is up so I can wake up now". Which did not fair so well when the sun started coming up at 6 and earlier. Les enfants s'habituent au réveil. Ils aiment beaucoup quand le soleil se couche le soir. Il y a encore des ajustements à faire pour qu'ils restent couchés un peu plus longtemps le matin mais en gros, le produit est très apprécié. We are only on day 3 of our Gro clock, but our 3 year old has taken to it quickly! He was an early riser...5 am was his norm, but he has slept until 5:40 and 5:45 the last two days with his new "sun clock."
