How do you get your children to understand when it's time to get up? SIMPLE "stay in bed until you see the sun!"

This updated version of the Gro Clock uses fun images of the stars and sun to communicate when to go back to sleep and when it's time to get up. Due to popular request, this version of the Gro Clock has a new feature allowing parents to choose whether or not to display the digital clock during the usual ‘stars to sun’ countdown. For older children, they can now start to learn digital time, as well as look for the arrival of the sun!

The Gro Clock helps to encourage children to stay in bed longer, which means more sleep for them and more sleep for you!

Due to US Patents we are unable to sell and ship Gro Clocks to the USA.

  • Glowing screen shows images of stars and sun to communicate 'sleep' and 'wake-up' time
  • Will work in all North American electrical outlets
  • Includes fun bedtime story book
  • Stars go out one-by-one during the night to show the passing of time
  • Key-lock option
  • Option to set two separate wake-up times (weekday/weekend or night-time/day-time nap)
  • Adjustable screen brightness
  • Silent operation with optional audible alarm feature

Too bright

The clock in itself is an amazing concept and great quality. However, I have to return it. My son is nearly 2 years old and never slept with a night light. This clock produces so much light it illuminates my son's bedroom as though its early morning. So, when he strips in the middle of the night, he wakes and has enough light to think it's daytime. He has enough light to play and calls out to get up. There is a function to dim the clock, but it only dims 'when not on use' function. The star setting is the brightest nightlight I've seen.

If your child previously slept with a nightlight or other light, is an infant, or has no trouble sleeping through the night....I'm sure this would be a great tool. Just not here.

Great Product

A bit pricy, but if it gets my little guy (who is 19 months!) to sleep in a little more in the morning, it's totally worth it! Easy to operate. Like the ability to set two wake up times (nap wake up and morning wake up)

Good investment

LOVE THIS! We've been using it with our now 3 year old since she was about 18 months. It has saved us many early mornings, as she quickly learned not to call for us unless the sun wasn't up. Even now, she remembers that if she doesn't sleep, she'll be grumpy like Percy Pig. Pricey, but worth it.

Very cute concept!

We bought this when we were having some sleep issues. The concept is really cute and I love it. It has worked pretty well for us thus far.

The storybook it comes with is really cute too.

our kids LOVE the Gro Clock

it's pricey….but MAN IS IT WORTH IT! i HAD 2 lil ones who would sneak into our room to announce it was daylight every morning. in summer months…this could be at a painful 6am ;) now with the settings, kids know it's still bed time until "mr. sun is up!" we use it as part of our bedtime routine. the kids say goodnight to mr. sun and sleepy star.
