We have been using two of these systems for about 6 months. One monitor system developed a problem where it beeped to indicate out of range, even though it was not moving. Called Philips support and they were very professional. Since it was under warranty, they sent a replacement unit for free.Quality Price Value
The sound is extremely clear. There is no background static nor hissing, even when the volume is on maximum. We had purchased an old style analoge monitor prevoiusly, and were never able to hear clearly (when the volume was increased, the hissing became unbareable).
And because it is DECT technology, the signals cannot be eavesdropped.
