The City Select Bassinet Kit contains plush fabric and support bracket that convert the City Select’s single seat into a bassinet in a few simple steps. Simply remove the fabric seat of the stroller and snap the bassinet fabric onto the same frame.
**Single seat needed to complete bassinet conversion. To use bassinet in double capacity mode, the second seat for the stroller must be purchased in advance.

I really wanted a bassinet AND a large wheel stroller...The bassinet was much more expensive at the time (2008) but I will say it is the best. Take the child in and out without waking them, no need to strap them in the car seat, comes with shade and mosquito netting, well designed, easy to use etc. And just about the only bassinet you can have on a stroller under $500 (well, last time I checked)! And i cold wheather, easy to find little sleeping bags etc to put them in - no winter suit required! Kids do outgrow them "quickly" (~9 months) but I still consider it don't do without item.
