Top 4 Accessories for the Baby Jogger City Select

Another Snuggle Bugz Stroller Day has come and gone. If you bought your baby’s new ride- congrats! :)

I always find stroller shopping a lot of fun and something that the hubby’s genuinely enjoy (definitely more exciting than picking out that breast pump ;) )

I actually went twice this past weekend to help out some close friends/family pick out their stroller. Both purchased the City Select by Baby Jogger (I love this stroller), I know they will love it also! I seriously never experienced a City Select owner who hasn’t loved their stroller…the only complaint that I have heard is that they don’t have a great cup holder- in fact they didn’t have a cup holder at all! We all know how vital a good cup holder is!!!

Well….(drumroll)….no more cup holder complaint!! Yes, City Select has come out with a new cup holder – seriously these people are smart cookies. They hear a complaint, they fix the problem – love it! If you own a City Select (and I know many of you do) you may will want to purchase this new City Select addition!

Speaking of additions if you are a City Select owner what are your accessory must-haves?

I don’t own one (yet) but if I did these would be mine:

1. City Select Cup holder – hands down!

2. City Select Child tray – kids enjoy their cup holder just as much as we do!

3. Baby Jogger Glider board – Kellan is at the age where this would be a perfect addition. Can you believe the City Select can actually accommodate three little people- love!

4. Baby Jogger Universal Parent Console – if you are anything like me, I always lose my keys in the bottom of my diaper bag. The console would save me from emptying my entire diaper bag in the parking lot to find my runaway keys.

There is no perfect stroller but the City Select is pretty close! :)

    I have this stroller and love it…though my little guy is a go getter and has preferred to walk than sit since he was a year. We were gonna get the double when we have no.2 but now we’ll probably just get the kick board.

    I LOVE my city select – we have a 12 month old and purchased the city select 6 months ago. He loves to ride in his comfy seat and I love pushing it around town. Of course it has a few negatives (like any stroller), but I wouldn’t trade it :) I especially love all of the configurations and hope to use it as a double in the future ;) My favourite accessory is the child tray – I can leave little snacks and a cup and my son is happy to munch away if we are out doing errands!

    I have a city elite stroller and I love it! I don’t have any accessories yet but i definately need the child tray!

    My sis-in-law has this stroller – love for her to have the cup holder. She’s expecting her second, and they wil be 13 months a part. Having this would be helfpul. :)

    I love my city select, I had the uppababy for my first child but once my son was born we bought the city select. It’s works better with 2 children. Now I’m pregnant again I will need the glider board having a 3yr old, 2 and a new board will be lots of fun:) The only thing I’m missing is a cup holder and I will for sure need a place for my Tea with 3 Children..

    I have had so many people stop me in stores and on the street to ask about my City Select. I cannot say enough about it! My 5 month old is now in the big kid seat and loves facing his sister while strolling outside. A must have for all moms and dads!

    Love the child tray (I find it doubles nicely as a belly bar to make my daughter feel more securely tucked in) and we also have the universal parent console, since we wanted a cup holder and none of the others fit. It’s ok, but I am super excited about a made to fit cup holder!!! Finally, Mama can have a drink too while we’re strolling! As our oldest daughter gets bigger, we’re probably also going to invest in the glider board, it’s getting more difficult to convince her (she is 2) to get into the stroller with her new baby sister.

    La la love the city select. This stroller is my personal freedom with 2 kids. We have all the attachments, but my personal favorite is the universal adapter to allow the maxi cosi carrier attach directly to the frame. The glider board is a close second.

    i love my city select!! i have been now using it as a double since i have a 2 year old and a 7 week old. i love that it converts into a double!! i cant wait to get the cup holder so i dont need to put my water bottle in the basket.

    I love that the City Select is a stroller that can grow with your family. I just had my first baby, so the only accessory we have so far is the Car Seat Adaptor: a definite must-have for anyone with an infant to pop them out of the car and into the stroller while they stay blissfully asleep. As my son gets older we’ll eventually add the Child Tray, Glider Board and eventually a second seat!
    I really could use that cup holder for myself now though… ;)

    Expecting my first child and researched long a hard on a stroller… I picked the city select and can’t wait to start using it! Everyone’s reviews, comments and raves about this stroller only makes me more assured I chose the right stroller! Since all the accessories are separate with this stroller its nice to see that Baby Jogger is coming out with more of their own products!! I would love to use this cup holder with my new stroller and be ready to go for nice long walks with my new bundle of joy!

    we have a city select. we love it because it allows our 3 yo to sit/sleep comfortably when he’s on the stroller too. the cup holder or the child tray would be awesome :) this might not be made by baby jogger, but the think king mighty bug hooks would be awesome on any stroller: http://www.think-king.com/mightybuggyhook.html

    I love my city select stroller & wouldn’t trade it for anything. I have most of the stroller accessories including the new cupholder. It’s great for all sized cups & I love that it self levels. However, it has to be placed in a very ackward spot on the stroller handle causing you to bump into it often when pushing the stroller (would really be a pain for pregnant ladies!). Although it can be removed quickly & stored in the bottom basket when not in use. Still better than nothing!

    I love my city select….I haven’t had a chance to use the seat yet though (still in his carseat) but it’s so easy to go from car to stroller and baby stays asleep! I don’t have any accessories so this would be the first :)

    Love my City Select! I have used it as a single for the past two years, but it will get it’s first use as a double in 2 weeks, give or take!!! Have been using the Universal Baby Jogger cup holder for now, but the new one looks much better. My top choice would definitely have to be the glider board!

    The City Select stroller was the first baby item I researched and purchased for our baby, who is due in August. I think I was 10 weeks pregnant when we got it! We don’t have any accessories yet but would absolutely LOVE the cupholder! We can’t wait to use our stroller this summer with our new baby. We hope to purchase/receive at my shower the basinette kit, car seat adapter, parent console and child tray but did not register for the cupholder – fingers crossed. I could really use some luck and to win something since being laid off after telling my work I was/am pregnant :(

    I just had twin girls and the City Select was the natural purchase for us and it is perfect! I walk them everyday and desperately want a cup holder, so I am THRILLED that they finally offer one, now our stroller will be beyond perfect!

    I love, love, love my parent console. I can fit everything I need in there for a quick walk with the kids or a trip to the park, and can ditch the bulky diaper bag at home.

    I use my City Select as a double and love how easy it is to navigate even with the weight of the 2 children (about 50lbs between the two of them). Would love to have a cup holder since my water bottle gets thrown into the bottom basket right now.

    I need a parent console. I had one with my Mountain buggy and I miss it. I always throw everything in the bottom basket :) a cup holder would be great!!

    I absolutely love my City Select double stroller! It enables me to get out of the house with two very small children (a two year old and a 5 month old)! Both my children love riding in this stroller and I have recommended it to a lot of friends already. I am excited about how easily this stroller and its attachments click together– I am sure to purchase the glider board in the future (if my family grows again)!

    I love my City Select Stroller! I’m in the process of finding accessories for it right now and desperately need somewhere to put tea! I’m going to be buying a parent console to help out with this problem until I can get an actual cup holder, but for now my favourite accessory would be my kids ;) haha Lame yes…truth…most of the time.

    PLEASE do NOT waste your money on their new cup holder It is worse than the last one! It is supposed to be self-leveling but just swings side to side. I bought one & used it twice, and both times I hit a tiny bump walking down the sidewalk (literally, a crack in the sidewalk – not jumping a curb or anything), and the cup holder flipped upside down & dropped my drink on the ground. I’m shocked to see a blog advocating for it. Biggest waste of money ever!
