The GroClock Sleep Trainer by The Gro Company

I haven’t slept for 6 years! Ok, well I have slept, but haven’t had a full night sleep since my son was born! Since the day he was born he was a power napper. My friends said “don’t worry about cleaning and catching up….. when he sleeps, you sleep,” but who gets a good sleep among 20 minute power naps?  Fast forward 6 years and, although he goes to bed at a good time, he wakes up every night, and tries to climb into bed with mommy and daddy.

Now, before kids I wouldn’t have understood this. I’m the parent, you tell him to go back to bed and that’s that! But for some reason, exhaustion sets in, and this just isn’t as easy in the of the middle of the night as I thought it would be. The ease of letting him climb into bed became routine, and the ease of me never sleeping again became a norm. Exhaustion had set in until just recently when my husband and I took a kid-free vacation for a week, and I once again remembered how wonderful it was to sleep all night, how rested I felt and what a different person I am when I am rested! So, an action plan had to be put into place!

We have had the GroClock at home for a bit of time, but in all honesty I have been afraid to use it. I was quite convinced that my son was not the kiddo that would go for a clock with a sunshine to tell him when to wake up. He usually thinks things through a little more thoroughly and isn’t “tricked” persay into doing things he doesn’t want to do. But, desperate times…

Three weeks in and it actually works; I have now slept for 3 weeks straight, which I am so incredibly grateful for! Each night we talk about getting up when the clock turns into a sunshine. We have made it achievable as he is naturally a morning person anyway. We have the sun set to come on at 6:30, and he excitedly comes into our room when he realizes he has stayed in his bed all night until the sun “shows his face” on his clock!

I had my doubts to be honest, I didn’t think this product would work with my son, and I was hesitant to try it out in case I was that one person that it didn’t work for, but yahoooo, and a hip hip hooray for a good night’s sleep! Customers have always told me it worked well but I am so thankful now to be able to say from personal experience, with a very smart, strong minded child that the GroClock works amazingly!

But don’t just take my word for it – we sent an email to a bunch of our customers that have purchased the GroClock … here is what they had to say!groClock - Sleep Trainer

We love our GroClock so much that when it shorted out in a Cuban electrical socket we ran out and bought a new one as soon as we got home! Its an integral part of our bedtime routine and really help us get through a tough stage with our son when we transitioned him to a bed from a crib. He used to get out of bed at all hours of the night and also resist going to bed, but now when he sees the star he knows its “nigh nigh” and that he has to wait for the sun to come up to get out of bed!

Started using it at 20 months. Easy to use. Saw results in two nights.

I LOVE the Gro Clock!! I bought it for my son who was nearly 3 at the time because he was waking between 5:00 and 5:30 am EVERY DAY, as well as waking his baby brother at that time. It has changed our lives. It didn’t take long at all for him to get the concept of the clock, although it did take a little bribery to get him to care about that concept as much as we did. He would get a little treat if he didn’t get out of bed in the morning until he saw the sun on the clock. We started the wake up time early so he would be sure to see the sun the first few days when he woke up so he’d be excited about it, then we gradually moved the wake up time later by 5 min increments. We now sleep until 6:30 every day, and we never hear a peep out of him until he sees the sun on his clock! And it was only a few weeks before we got to that point. I only wish I bought this clock sooner. I would recommend it to anyone who has an early riser. The only thing I don’t like about the clock is that on a couple of occasions the sun didn’t come on in the morning even though it was set appropriately. Maybe just a problem with ours, I don’t know, but generally it works great. Also functions as a night light if you want and you can set the level of light from low to high. Great, great product.

I first bought the GroClock in Europe when I found my then 2 year old daughter sitting in the living room at 3am telling me, ‘I’m hungry, Mommy. Can I have some Cheerios?’ I knew something had to be done!! Kids (like every one of us) wake up a bit throughout the night, but as adults we know it’s not morning yet and we go back to sleep. Kids just aren’t able to tell when it’s morning, and once they wake up, they’re ready to get going. The clock was an instant success!

When my son moved to a bed at 2 years of age, I bought him one too. He’s naturally an early riser, so it’s been very helpful to keep him in bed until a reasonable hour. The one thing I’d suggest though is not to set the sun to come up too long after your child naturally wakes up or they get fed up waiting for the sun!!

We just moved back to Canada 2 months ago, so I was delighted to see that Snuggle Bugz was now selling the GroClock – I ordered 2 for my children for x-mas! Every night as part of our bedtime routine I say, ‘So what will you do if you wake up and the sun’s not up?’ and they say, ‘Roll over and go right back to sleep!’ They are now 4 and 6 years old, they love their clocks…and so do we!

I bought this clock for my son (2.75 yrs old) who was giving us an earlier wakeup than I wanted. I loved the idea behind it and couldn’t wait to try it. We used it for 5 days and did not have great experience. He would now wake up throughout the night, and because he normally slept in a dark room the glow from the clock would catch his attention and instead of falling back asleep he would call out “Oh, now there are 6 stars left!!!” “Oh, now there are 4 stars left!!!”. The groclock turned into more trouble than it was worth. We would rather have a solid night sleep with an early wake up than constant night wakings.

Carly from Toronto, ON

I received the GroClock as a gift for my daughter’s 2nd birthday. My best friend had heard me moaning about how exhausted I was, since my daughter had suddenly developed the habit of waking up at 5am every day.

Skeptical, I plugged in the clock and read all the instructions. I set the GroClock’s “wake up” time for 7:30am, and that night I showed it to my daughter. I explained to her that when she saw the blue star, it was time to sleep, and when she saw the yellow sun, it was time to wake up and Mommy would come and get her. I repeated this several times: Blue: Sleep. Yellow: Come get you.

The VERY next morning, I woke up feeling oddly refreshed. I looked at my clock and was shocked to see it was 7:20am. I stilled, listening, and sure enough, I could hear my daughter quietly talking and singing to herself in her room, but she wasn’t yelling for me starting at 5am as she had been for weeks. And then it happened. 7:30 hit, and I heard her yell out, “MOMMY IT’S YELLOW COME GET YOU!”

Ever since then, she has slept in later and consistently stayed quiet until the magic 7:30 mark. And right on the nose, as soon as the clock gently changes colour at 7:30 from a blue star to a yellow sun, she yells out for Mommy and Daddy, “YELLOW COME GET YOU!”

This works for naptime, too, though we haven’t taken advantage of the nap time setting. All we have to do is set the clock to blue and she takes it as a sign to settle down. It’s really quite a miracle device.

JM from Ottawa, ON

My mom bought this clock for my 2 year old daughter and she loves it. She gets excited about going to bed cause she gets to see the sun change to the star. It is a bit above her comprehension level still but we started to talk about how she isn’t going to come and get me up until the sun is up on the clock (“sun on clock mommy!”). She still does come to me too early but is very excited when the sun does finally come up. I think she will be ready for it by the time she is 2.5 but we’ll see.

I find it very easy to use. The only draw back I have is that you have to set it every night and I would love to only have to change it if I don’t want it to come on and perhaps have a 2 alarm option so that it can be the same for naps. (The clock does have a 2 alarm option built in, one for nights and one for naps.)

We purchased the GroClock for our 2 1/2 year old son, hoping that it would inspire him to stop his nightly visits to our bedroom, and stay in his own bed. Though he loves watching the sunset, and gets very excited in the morning for the sun to rise, it has not helped him to actually stay in his room until the clock indicates it is wake up time. We still have to take him back to his bed each night. The sun and stars changes make it very easy for him to understand the time of day, though I don’t see this clock as something to keep in his room long term. Because it only has a digital time, and very small at that, we will change it to another clock when we want him to learn to actually tell time. My husband had some difficulty remembering how to have the sunset each night. It would be helpful if the clock had a pre-set time for it so go down, so that it didn’t have to be fiddled with every night. The button lock is helpful as my son quickly figured out how to change the picture to the stars, so being able to lock the buttons is a necessity. I would recommend this clock to a friend, but as with any tool it is only as good as the user. Therefore, don’t buy it if you think it alone will keep your child in bed. It can be helpful to teach them to stay in bed, but it will still require the parent to do their part. It is not a magic bullet, but could be a helpful tool.

Emma from Port Elgin, ON

We purchased the Gro Clock in December for our 3 and a half year old. We didn’t purchase it because she is always in and out of her room and in ours, but she was asking about nighttime and daytime and we thought this would be an ideal clock. It has proven to be worth its weight in Gold! I bought it on sale from Snuggle Bugz, but we would certainly pay the $60 odd dollars – worth every penny!! Our daughter will NOT come out of her room unless her grow clock is Yellow with the Sun. She’s loves to count down the stars when its story time and she has really started sleeping more soundly. It is also perfect for my husband and I, he works away during the week and we set her clock for 8 am on Sat and Sun mornings, and still she doesn’t come into our room until it’s ‘morning time mummy’. I would recommend this product over and over and over, and I’m not being biased because I’m born and bred from England either!!

Valerie from Edmonton, AB

We have a 3.5 year old boy who since day one has gone in and out of phases of waking up at 5:00am ready to start his day. I finally broke down and bought this clock, and it has taken a bit of learning but I’m happy to say that it is definitely worth the money! This morning he was up at 5:50 and most days he won’t go back to sleep for us (which is too bad), but he will turn on his light and read books in his room until the sun comes up on his clock at 6:45 (a time that we have set as a tolerable time to face the day). It took a while for him to acknowledge the clock, and some days he refuses to abide by it altogether, but for the most part it has been a great addition to our routine. I can’t say this with certainty, but I have a hunch that starting with the clock at an even earlier age would be better. I would say as soon as you move your child to a “big girl/boy bed”, get that clock going!

Julie from Windsor, ON

I bought this product with the thought in mind to teach my 2 and a half year old about time. My secondary goal is to get him to stay in bed till 7 AM (he woke up between 6 and 6:30).
It’s been around 6 months since we’ve been using the product. My son sleeps until 7:00 AM now, and I actually had to set back the time to 7 because he’d sleep until 7:30 – something he’d never done before. We still use the clock, and now he occasionally wakes up before ‘the sun comes up’, but all in all, I think it really helped him with both having a sense of time passing, and to sleep longer. We only read the book once, and I can’t say that we really needed the book. It was just nice for my boy to see pictures of the clock and make mental connections.

Sarah from Milton, ON

We bought the GroClock for our daughter when she was two and we are still using it two years later and loving it! We bought it because she was constantly getting up at 6am, ready to start her day. After showing her that she needed to stay in bed until the sunshine appeared she soon got used to it and now consistently stays in bed until at least 7am. For us, the perfect age to start the clock was two and a half because she understood how it worked, but I think this clock will grow with us. You can use it as a normal alarm clock as she gets older and we are now able to lock the settings so she can’t change it on her own by pressing the buttons. Although there are separate settings for nighttime and nap time, we find we mainly just use it at night, though depending on the child I’m sure it would be great for both!

Our daughter has grown so used to the sunshine and stars “night-light” on her clock that she now likes to see the clock wherever she is sleeping, whether we’re at the cottage or when she’s at her grandparent’s house. This has been one of our best purchases during the toddler years and we will definitely be investing in another one for our next toddler!

We love our GroClock! My son is 2.5yrs and was getting quite good at delaying his bedtime routine. His grandfather had friends who recommended the GroClock so he purchased one for us. The “Sleepy Farm” story that came with the clock was an instant favourite and he now reads along with me at bedtime, making all the animal sounds…. He still gets very excited that he has the same clock as Percy Pig. It did not take long for him to understand that the stars mean it is time to sleep and he goes to bed much more readily now. I have suggested to many of my friends that they check out the GroClock and I plan to make it my new standard baby shower gift.

Shiloh from Falmouth, NS

Great product, we purchases them for our 2 and 3 year old boys. They love them. They are easy to operate and program. Worth the money.

Erica from Vancouver, BC

This is an excellent product – a real sanity-saver. Our son had been getting up between 4:30 AM and 5:30 AM since he was about 9 months old when I finally thought we should try and see if a ‘clock’ like this would help (he was a bit over two years old at this point). He was instantly fascinated both by the clock and the story that comes with it. However, once he figured out that we were trying to set up rules about when he could get up (i.e. “We won’t come and get you until the sun on the clock comes up”, we had about one week of struggles around sleep generally: protests about going to bed for naps and night-time (which was unusual for him). After that first week though, it has been totally smooth sailing. I can even hear him wake up ‘early’ sometimes (before the sun is showing on the clock), say something quietly then go back to sleep. The two times the clock either hasn’t been set properly or wasn’t turned on, he slept until about 7:45 AM! So now we’ve got the clock set to 7:15 AM on weekends, which feels like a miracle considering what we started with! We didn’t use the nap vs. nighttime setting but instead use the two times to distinguish between workdays (when we have to get up earlier) and weekends. Our son quite likes the clock and talks about it a lot.
Things to note:
- I think it’s important to keep the clock out of reach of your child. Our friends tried it and their same-age daughter (in a toddler bed; our son was in a crib) figured out how to work the buttons to make the sun come on whenever she wanted, which kind of defeats the purpose…
- It’s quite bright. Our son likes a nice dark room and we have the clock turned down to its lowest light level and it *still* seems pretty bright. We don’t point it directly at the crib since I think it’s actually bright enough to wake him up when it flips to the sun.
- The buttons and set-up can be a little confusing. We figured it out pretty quickly but my parents are still a bit daunted (which is how the clock came to be not set properly a couple of times).

Overall:
- This is essentially a sleep-training aid so if you are comfortable with sleep training, it will help you immeasurably.
- We think it’s the best thing we ever bought for our son and it’s no exaggeration to say that it improved our lives substantially!

My son had been waking in the middle of the night, struggling to go to sleep at night and typically waking at 5am for months. After trying everything I could to get him to sleep in and to fall asleep easily at night I found the GroClock. My son was not quite 23 months so I was a bit nervous if he would understand it, especially since he’s not very verbal. He took to it right away. I set the “alarm” for 6am the first night and all I had to do is remind him when he woke early that night that he had to wait until the sun woke up before he could get out of bed. After that one night he never woke up crying again at 5am to get up. I slowly bumped the time up until 7am and he now goes to bed without complaint at 8pm and wakes at 7am. It’s been a total lifesaver! I never expected it to be so easy. I love that it has a naptime setting as well as the nighttime setting. It helps keep things consistent, and my son loves the story. The only drawback is the nightlight. It’s very bright and we found that it woke him at night. He sleeps in a very dark room and it was too much of a glow for him. You can turn the backlight setting down to “0″ which turns it off. The backlight comes back on when the sun comes up, but you can’t change the brightness setting for the sun, so I find it actually wakes him up. This isn’t usually a problem since he’s typically awake around 7am anyway, but it does prevent him from ever being able to “sleep in”. I would still buy the clock though a hundred times over for the overall result it’s given us with our son. I have recommended it to everyone I know with a child around age 2 or older. It’s been the best piece of baby equipment I’ve owned!

my son is 18 months old now and still doesn’t sleep through the night on a regular basis, so on top of waking a few times every night he’ll wake at 6 or 6:30 am. I’d love to see if this would help him to go back to sleep on his own and stay in bed till 7 am! With a second baby on the way, this momma needs some sleep!

I would love to win the gro clock! My son does not sleep through the night and I could really use a good nights sleep :)

  • Jenny

I have heard so many good things about the Gro Clock. My son is now 19m old so the timing is just about right to get him on track, especially now that the days are getting longer. Thanks for hosting this contest, SnuggleBugz!

I have a 26 mth old daughter. Who does not sleep through the night at all. She wakes up and thinks its playtime or time to get up. Doesn’t seem to matter what time of day she goes to bed she still wakes up many times through out the night. Its very hard as my husband and I work opposite shifts so as I am getting home from work hes leaving and vice versa. I feel this clock could help in her sleeping till morning.

  • Diana Sweatman

Wow can this clock really do all this!!!! We need one in our lives. Our son doesn’t like bedtime or waking up. This could be just the thing to get all our acts together and have a well rested house and happy preschooler. I hope we win one!

  • H Matchett88

This looks like an amazing concept! I would love to give it a shot :D

  • Joanne Avery

I will need a GroClock for my daughter, guaranteed! She’s just 10 months old, but hasn’t slept a night her whole life. I’ve just managed to break her of waking up 6+ times a night and we’re down to 2-3 times a night now. It’s never to youngto start and it never hurts to be prepared, so I’d love to win a GroClock!

My 2 year old has never had a good sleep schedule..hes managed to stay up all night and not fall asleep until 7 or 8 am..then we are too tired to wake him and ourselves up early to try and straighten him out..not to mention he is a bear if he doesnt get enough sleep..i worry this is going to reek havock on our 3 month old..would love anything that could help ;)

  • Erincassan@gmail.com

My son loves his gro-clock! He is so proud of himself when he sees the sun. One morning we could hear him thought the monitor he was just talking to himself quietly in his crib all of a sudden he starts screaming “awake, awake!” We went in and he said “look mommy I see the sun!” I now need one for his little brother so hopefully he will sleep until the su!

  • Sarah

I would really love to win this clock because my son has recently started waking up extremely early (this morning was just before 5 am) and the timing could not be worse! I now have a 5 week old and he is not a good sleeper at all. He’s often up every 2 hours and that combined with a 5 a.m. wake-up time from my older son has made me completely exhausted.
I think the GroClock would really help my son to understand when it’s time to get up. I have heard that it’s a ‘miracle clock’ from my friends who have one and I could really use some rest! :)

  • michelle

This looks like a product that may actually help me get more than the short stints of sleep I currently get. I would LOVE to win one and try o convince my 2 year :) . Thanks!

  • Lisa

Daylight savings has made me realize why my kids need one of these. I had been able to get a reasonable amount of sleep in the morning because my daughter isn’t to get up until the sun is out. Soon, that will be before 6am. Also, it’s going to be fantastic trying to convince her that it’s bedtime in the sun come summer time. A grow clock would definitely help me to get some sleep and to avoid some struggles with the preschooler!

  • Jillcruz

I need this more than you know! How did I not discover this sooner? My 2.5 year old son wakes up at 5:30 every morning no matter how early or late I put him to sleep – always 5:30! He is transitioning from toddler bed to big boy bed now and I hoped it would make him want to stay in bed longer – but still wakes up too early! This device would SAVE me!

  • Luskeys

I would love to try the groClock with my daughter as we make the move to a big girl bed :) She loves to learn so I think this clock would be right up her alley!

  • L Gunner

I am a mother of 3. 2/3 crawl into my bed at night. We tried sending them to their own beds but end up caving because of the cries and we’re tired!
I think we’d be great candidates for this clock! We’re expecting our fourth (SURPRISE!) and we need them to sleep in their own beds by the time the new baby arrives. I’d love to try this clock :)

  • Ingrid

I could have written the article above! Ok, not the part about having the groClock but the part about not having slept in years and desperately needing it!
Somehow I – the great lover of sleep – have birthed two children that were horrible sleepers as babies, early risers as infants and are now frequent wakers as preschoolers/toddlers.
I NEED this groClock because my middle of the night begging and pleading to the tune of: “please go back to bed, Mommy’s tired” seems to be falling on deaf ears!
    Help a tired Mommy out!

  • Melissa_hampel

I’d love to get some sleep. I want a grow clock

  • Dawn Baker

I would try anything at this point. Due to pure exhaustion I now have a family bed. Anything I try to get my 2.5 year old son into his own bed has not been successful. This sounds like a fun thing to try. Anything is worth
    It……

  • Mayandev

I’d love one as my 4 yr old son gets out of bed at night, and then very early gets up and wakes his sister up too.

my daughter is a visual learner and this is such a great visual that would also prepare her to ‘sundown’ and “sun up!” Sometimes she gets up and I debate if I should go in, and then the next morning, it seems earlier than the day before…I’d love to sleep in until 7am! lol

  • Elaine Dunning

I haven’t slept through the night in 8yrs! My daughter is still always up by 6am, and my now 2.5yr old son is still up in the middle of the night and ends up in our bed and up by 6:30am. My middle child is my best sleeper, but has such a hard time turning himself off! Once asleep he’s good!!! I could definitely benefit from something like this – especially if it works!!

    • Elainedunning

Sleep training is hard when you have the kids sharing a room, and the other is a light sleeper! This would definitely help!

  • Princessjoaner

I would really love to go back to a decent (more than 3 hrs of sleep). Please help

  • Jenn

My 3 year old has started thinking night time is only when it’s dark (since we changed the clocks this week). I hope this might help with that.

  • Andrea Patel81

I have 2 under the age of 2 and would love to start training my older one to actually go to sleep earlier!

  • Beth Revelle

I too have heard great things about the GroClock. I would love to sleep in again one day and I think this will be a big help

  • Melanie

I need a gro clock to get my 3 year old son to stay in bed in the morning! This would be such a great visual for him to go by! Thanks for the giveaway!!

I NEED A GROCLOCK!! My daughter use to be such a good sleeper but for the last couple of months she has been coming into our bed everynight and refuses to go back to her own bed!! I feel sooo sleep deprived! Both me and my husband work full time and are at our wits end with this!! We need help!!

  • Maria

I’m pregnant with my fourth! The other ones NEED to stay in bed. :)

  • waterlilymum

I would love a Gro Clock!!

  • Jennifer thompson

If my son knew it was sleepy time instead of party time at 4am we’d be golden! Fingers crossed!

  • Prestmichelle

I have a 16 month old and he has never been a good sleeper, I have tried pretty much everything, even the cry it out method and nothing has worked. Even when I bring my son into bed with me to try to get sleep he is a restless sleeper and I get kicked and bumped into and never get a good sleep. My Husband an I haven’t slept in the same bed for 16 months.I am so ready to try anything to get more then a few hours of sleep a nigh, and welcome my husband back into the bed.

  • Tina

Ohh my gosh! This is FANTABULOUS!. I would love to win this. My son who is 5 has been crawling into our bed for over a year now. Our carbon monixide tester went off twice in one week right at his bedtime(was faulty) and scared him to death. For a long time he was petrified to go to bed. We got to where he will now go to bed but is still scared to stay in his bed all night. This would really help us to get him back on track and maybe…just maybe.. give him the confidence to start sleeping in his bed all night again. :)

  • Jen Newell

I am so desprite for sleep!!!! We have three kids aged 8, 6 and 3. The 8 year old was not a sleeper until two days before I delivered my second child. Things we thought would be better until she was diagnosed with autism at 3 and with that one thing some autistic kids don’t do SLEEP! Around this time we also had our son and this meant major sleep depervation. At age 6 I finally got her to sleep at night……the only other problem her brother won’t sleep and I’ve tried everything. I would love to win this and hopefully get rid of the bags under my eyes :)

  • Jenna

Well, I would love a GroClock because…my son has never been a good sleeper. His favourite time of the day is around 4 am. This happens to be one of my favourite times of the day too…when i’m SLEEPING! Bah. My 2 1/2 year old is already smarter than I am and requires incentives for pretty much everything ;) A GroClock may be the answer to keeping us all a little more rested!!

  • MommyShan

I am the mother of a 14 month old, 28 weeks pregnant with our second child. Would love a groClock and get our little guy sleeping like an angel!! Please please please!! I love Snugglebugz!

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=531311927 Alison Simpson

What a great product! We would love to have one.

  • Shalane

My husband and I haven’t had a decent nights sleep in three and a half years! With a new baby added to the mix (who appears to have a dislike for sleep routines similar to his sister) we are desperate to put an end to our sleepless nights before they span another three years. We’d love a Gro Clock to help us on our way!

  • Jennifer savory

I really want to try this clock with my little girl…

  • Kristen Marrs

I would love a GroClock for my son! Just heard about these for the first time and think it would be perfect!!!

  • Genevieve

I so need a groclock. My 2 years old son keeps waking up at night, wich not only wakes up me and my husband, but also our youngest son… who tries to start sleeping through the night… It would help all the family to sleep at night and enjoy one another more in the morning!

  • Leah McCann

I need another Gro Clock for my youngest son. It is working like a charm with my middle son, wish I had used one for my oldest.

  • Bianca Smalley

I’d love a groclock! My son is just about that age where it would be extremely helpful at keeping him in bed longer in the mornings. Can’t wait to try it!

  • Kristy McCo

I’ve always considered buying a special clock, but wouldn’t it be great if I won one!?

  • Carol R

Would love a groClock. My daughter is 4 and has the wonderful wake up time of 5 am…..and half the time she ends up in our bed at about 3. I’ve heard about this clock before and been really interested.

  • Candace

We have one for our 2 year old daughter and it works amazingly. Not once since we’ve had it has she gotten up early! Now with a little boy in our household now it would be great to have one for his room. The GroClock is one of the best products I’ve bought for my girl.

  • Sandra

I would love to win this but not for me. It would be for my friend who has twin 3 year old boys and she has not had a full nights sleep since they were born. I know they have tried many, many things to get the boys to sleep and I think this would be a great thing for them. One wakes up, she has to go in or he will wake up his brother. If she ignores them when one wakes up they will also come into her room and yell for her to get up. At that point they are up for the next 2 or 3 hours. Thanks for the chance to win. I am sure she will appreciate it if I can win it for her.

  • Iirusik

I really like the idea and design! My 20months old says “tik-tak” when she sees clock, she also says “moo” (moon) and “tar” (star). She’ll be super excited to have GroClock to watch moon with stars and to learn time. And I hope it will help her to stay in bed during the night (that is currently a luxury for mommy :)

  • Natalie Stephenson

We’d love one of these awesome clocks! We’re expecting our second and we still live in a one bedroom place. I’d love it if my son could learn the appropriate time to wake up the rest of us, preferably before the baby arrives! Thanks for the chance!

  • Amy

I wouls love a Gro Clock so my earlier rising 4 year old may sleep a little longer.

  • Marie-Josée Toutounji

Why do i need it? Because i need soooo much to sleep at night! I am soooo tired!!!!

  • Jodywiger

I’m so excited about this clock. I would love to get it for the girls room.

  • Priscilla Liang

It’d be great if I can win one because having enough sleep has become a luxury for me. Thanks!!!

  • Grace Ng

This clock brings back one of my fondest and earliest childhood memories, my mother reading me a bedtime story.  I think this clock would help me to create a great childhood memory for my daughter, and every phase of the clock would remind my child of that special story we share and help her feel like I am always there with her all through the night. Thank you for the opportunity to create these special memories, and hopefully a peaceful sleep for my baby and us too.

  • andrews_cheryl

I have a two year old son who fights sleep all of the time. I really would love this clock for him. I really need to get some sleep! Thanks.

  • Shannon Koetstra

Wow! It would be fantastic to win this. My DD clearly is not old enough to tell time yet, but her mama is DEFINITELY old enough…and let’s just say it’s TOO DARN EARLY ;) Please pick me!!

  • Jen B

Our Son is 2.5 and ever since his sister was born 4 months ago he has been waking up in the middle of the night and calling for us. He is doing this 2-3 times a night now. Between him and our daughter needing feedings in the middle of the night I am getting no sleep. It sounds like this might help to keep him in bed so that we can both get some sleep.

  • Bambie S.

I have only heard great things about the GroClock. I would love to give one to my sister who hasn’t had a good night’s sleep in 5 years (since my nephew was born). I think something like this would keep him in bed both during the night and later in the morning.

  • http://idealaccents.ca/ Eva W

My 4yr old daughter would LOOOOOVE this, I work very late into the night so an extra hour in the morning would be amazing :)

  • Umbro13

With four children five an under sleep is precious. We currently run a lamp on a $5.00 timer but Wirh my oldest getting bigger it would be nice to have something that displays the time as well.

  • Kayla Barda

My daughter is 3.5 and some morningsn she wakes up early because she hears her 8 month o,d baby brother. As she is in nursery all day I really need her to sleep later.

  • Michellehansford

Oh my goodness what a great idea! This would be greatly appreciated in our household.

  • Katalin

I think this would be great to teach my son some good habits early on (he’s almost 3).

  • Kirsten

I would love to have a groClock for my 3 kids (ages 2,4,6). With baby #4 on the way it would be great to squeeze in any extra sleep that I can get! Thanks for the great give away!

  • Natalie MM

“Sleep is for the weak” has always been my 3 year old’s motto! This Gro Clock would be great at helping him transition to his own bed (from ours) AND know what time it’s okay to trot on over to our room, since he still occasionally wakes up during the night. And it would be great for telling him when to go to bed at night, which is an ongoing issue!

  • Sarah

Ohhhh this is exactly what I need! My son is almost 4, and every night he joins us in our bed at 1-3 in the morning!
You would think with a 4 month old it would be her keeping me up, but she sleeps much better than my son!

We also live in fort McMurray, dark winters and sunny summers it’s getting hard to explain to him when he can get up and when he can goto bed. When it’s dark at 4 in the winter and dark at 11 in the summer!!

  • Mel East

Our daughter (just turned 2) & is up EVERY day between 4:30 and 5:00 a.m!!! Oh my, it’s exhausting and makes for such a long day! (She’s also waking her big sister(4 yrs) up way before she needs to be too!) I’ve tried that other clock from Indigo/Chapters that teaches time and quite frankly that was a waste of my money. It’s supposed to turn color too when it’s time to wake up, but seriously I must have a faulty one cuz it sure doesn’t set right for me! I could almost just throw it out the window! I’ve been debating on buying this one but i’m hoping in the back of my mind that my sweetie will just snap outta this stage sooner than later! However, it would be GREAT if we got this clock and setting it as part of our nitetime/morning routine! Thanks for the chance to win it!!
    Mel E

  • Maydena

Amazing invention! My DD already has one, but since we are thinking of adding to our family, why not add to the gro-clock family as well? These really do work people!

  • Tamara B

I would love to have a gro clock for my soon to be 2 year old boys that will be transitioning to toddler beds in the near future. This would be a good transition item.

  • Courtney

My almost 3 year old shares a room with her baby brother. She is usually the first to wake up and often wakes up the baby.

  • Samira

This would be such a help for my daughter! Every morning, she crawls into our bed. Somehow, my husband manages to sleep through it, but I am awake from then on. It would be so nice to be able to sleep past 6 am!

  • Sd727

I would love a gro clock for when my son transitions to his own bed. This is a little ways away for us as my son is not a year old, but I’ve heard so many great things about this item that it is on my must have list :)

  • Lisa Whelton

My friend needs one of these and I would give it to her! She has a 2 1/2 year old who is getting up earlier and earlier and is such a screecher! Both she and her husband are teachers and could use all the rest they can get.
I would love to be able to give her and her husband some peaceful mornings.

  • Melo

My husband and I are hardly able to sleep through the night. Hopefully the gro clock will help us :D

  • Physiogal

Awesome, thanks for sharing. My 3-year-old still wants to co-sleep with one or the other parent. I am about 32 weeks along with baby #2 and something needs to change. :) I need to figure out a way to get my husband and I sleeping in the same room, and our daughter in her own room alone. The sooner the better, as I’m sure a new baby will disrupt things too. Would love to try the GroClock!

  • Bubbie24

Until a few weeks ago, I didn’t think I’d need one of these…but my son’s waking every night now and baby #2 is only 2 months away!!

  • Iris

this would be awesome for our son – thx for giving away such a great product!

  • LW

    Our son needs this!
    Signed, One tired mommy

  • Jo

I also haven’t slept through the night in the past 5 years! My kids need to learn to stay in bed!

  • Jennifer

My kids are such EARLY risers! I need to try this!!!!

  • Cheryl

This would help us transition my son out of our bed and into his own room, now that the new baby is here our room is getting crowded , im sure everyone would get a better sleep in their own bed.

  • Amandapascoe10

We need this! I remember my Dad teaching me to ‘tell time’ – basically showing me where the hands should be on the clock before I came in to wake him up (and he was willing to get up at 7:00am – good job Dad!) but the Gro-Clock makes it way easier and fun too!

  • Miskiwj

I have 3 kids under the age of 6, I would love one of these:)

  • 2010babydolly

This sounds like an amazing product and I would love to try it! My 18 month old has always been an unpredictable sleeper and now that I am back at work, it is so tough to wake up with her in the middle of the night and super early in the morning (4:00 or 5:00am!). I feel like a zombie most days. This sounds like something that she would go for and have a bit of fun with.

  • Anna Fowler

I have wanted a groclock as soon as I read about them! I love sleep and the lack of sleep is tough. This would really help!

  • Quincy Barnesky

I need a Gro-Clock for my 4 year old son who gets up at least once a night and is up usually at the crack of dawn! I try to tell him not to get up until he can see light peeking through his blinds but sometimes it doesn’t help! The Gro-Clock would help him to tell when it really is time to get up! Thanks for the chance!!!

  • Sarah B.

I would love this clock for my 3 year old so I can get some extra sleep :) Thanks!

  • Lesley

My daughter started waking up at 6 am on weekends, since she started daycare in January. I would love for something like the gro clock to teach her to stay in bed so I can sleep in on weekends!

  • Angie

I would love to have a groClock because the days are getting longer and its hard to keep the sun out of the room as we get closer to summer. This will help ensure we all stay in bed longer! :)

  • Kristine

This would be amazing for my almost 4 year-old daughter since she will be starting Junior Kindergarten this year – it would help a lot with the morning routine and rush. She also has a hard time in the summer with longer daylight hours. She thinks it has to be dark outside to go to bed which gets challenging in the summer because the sun goes down so late and comes out so early too. I’m sure this would be a great help. Her brother could use it too in another year or so. Thanks!

  • carmamma

We have an almost 2 year old who has always had sleep issues. She began life with reflux (any parent of a baby with reflux will know that sleep is a nightmare) and soon after she outgrew the worst of that we discovered she had asthma which usually manifests at night time with her. We finally seem to have a hold on her medical issues and are at a place where we can all work on getting a good nights sleep. Anything that can help with that would be awesome!

  • Trisha

Not only would this help on a day to day basis. It would be perfect for Daylight savings times! Those sure do mess with regular sleep patterns!

  • Elana

We recently moved our 2 year old son to his room on the main floor and he seems to be so tired. He’s yawning by 10 am and meltdowns have increased noticeably. I think the change in scenery is throwing him off. When he gets up in the morning he plays until he calls out for us (whatever time that may be some days he won’t play at all and just wants OUT!) but even though he dosen’t seem to be getting up super early he is not sleeping soundly through the night and it’s affecting him. I think if he had something like the grow clock to focus on in the night… something that reminds him to go back to sleep, he might start getting back to sleep faster and ultimately sleeping longer and better. :) Would love one of these to help him out!!

  • Cynthia-joaquin

My son comes in my room every night and asks to sleep in my bed. By sleep he means watch tv. That is usually our morning routine to get everyone ready for the day. The problem is he wakes up at 2 or 3 in the morning thinking its 7:30. We then have to tell him it’s too early and he needs to go back to bed. Some nights this is not an easy task! I think this clock would be extremely helpful to us!

  • K & I’s momma

Oh my what a wonderful gift your giving.

I need these for my two boys especially my oldest. It would be a great tool to avoid the middle of night come into momma’s bed since he woke and it must be morning.

    Sigh. This momma needs sleep.

  • Stefanie

My son is 16 months old and he still wakes up two or three times a night. I am always exhausted when I go to work and there is never any chance to catch up on sleep on the weekends. Anything that can get him to sleep thru the night would be a huge lifesaver.

  • JenC

My son still wakes up once or twice at night. I would love a groClock to try out.

  • Erica

I have three kids ages 9, 6 and 4. Between the three of them I am getting up at least once a night and one or two end up in bed with me on any given night. It sounds like this is exactly what I need to get them sleeping through the night in their own beds so I can be rested in the morning.

  • Shannon Anderson12

This could be a lifesaver for me, a mother of, 2yr old twin boys who love to get up early. I need sleep and will take any extra bit I can get.

  • Megan

My son often likes to wake up early! Would love to see if a gro clock would help him sleep a little longer!

  • Chermereweather

The concept seems like a “must have”, would love to give it a try when my son is ready.

  • Stephanie

I have a 2 year old that has had many changes in the last 3 months. His sister was born back in December with complications. She required hospitalizatin for the next 6 weeks which meant mom was gone. At this time the night wakings became a routine. I haven’t slept and it’s not due to the newborn. I have heard man wonderful things about the gro clock and would grately benefit from this amazing product. Please pick me.

  • Anonymous

I love this idea and it would make bedtime just a little easier! Sometimes, I think I need to know when it’s time to go “nigh nigh” and when I ‘should’ get out of bed. Maybe I need my own GroClock :)

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=650585010 Andrea Taylor

I need a groClock because I have a toddler! Seriously, I think every kid should have one of these.

  • Lindsaywatters

Would love to have this for our 3 year old so when the new baby comes, it’s one less thing to worry about!!

  • R, a sleepy mama…

I need sleep. No one believes that my 2.5 year old, for the last 2.5 years has been the queen of light sleep. Flick the light switch – she is awake, turn on a tap – she is awake, lay down to sleep – she is up! I know the poor little thing can’t control how easily she stirs or how often she will rouse, but we are reaching our peak of gentle back-to-sleeps…can’t you *just sleep?! …PLEASE!?!* she is old enough now to have some ‘responsibility’ for her day-to-day. What better way to start with a toddler than a visual clock! The sun and moon she holds dear to her wee heart and I sincerely she will ‘get’ the idea and respect the sun and moon’s new wake and sleep rules. I’ll try it!!!

Mama needs her bed back – need rest and room for a growing belly… <3

  • Heather Osborne

I have a 2 year old and 4 year old that have sleep issues. I would love to try out a GroClock. What a great way to help train kids on when to wake up and when to stay in bed. Hoping I win.
    Heather
    Kanata, Ontario

  • Andrea

I always recommend the groclock to friends whenever they have trouble with their little ones sleeping to an appropriate time and every time they love it…now that my little one knows that she can get out of bed by herself I am in desperate need of one, I really hope I win.

  • JM

I’ve been encouraging those with younger kids to get The GroClock for some time because I just think it’s brilliant. Parents need their sleep and this is one easier way to obtain that more. I would love a GroClock to ensure my little girl gives me a little sleep in time on the weekends.

  • Stephanie

I love this clock. It gives little ones a way to tell the time before they even have a chance to learn their numbers.

  • Allison Heaney

THE GRO CLOCK! We love the idea of the grow clock. A simple way to teach independence to our little man. With another baby on the way sooner rather than later, the transition to the big boy bed is being made sooner than we’d like. I’m sure a groclock would help up all with this transition!

  • Shauna

We are moving our son into a big boy bed this summer and we definitely will need a GroClock to keep him from getting out of bed at 5am!

  • Dawnmacd

My 20 month old has always been an early riser, 5:30am I would love robe able to get her to sleep in just a little bit longer! It would be fabulous for our travel to Grandma & Grandad and their earlier time zone!

  • Carrie :)

I would absolutely love to win one of these- I think it could be a lifesaver (or sleepsaver :) ) for not only our 3 1/2 year old but also us… :) He refuses to sleep in his bed so he falls asleep in our bed and if I am really careful I can move him to his bed and after a few restful hours he comes back over to our bed… I would love to win and give him (and us) a much more restful sleep :) Fingers are crossed!! :)

  • Danielle

This clock is a great idea and would love to have this for when my baby arrives!

  • Change23

My little guy would love this little clock! A great way for him to learn about sleeping in!

  • megan_27

I am so excited to put this clock to use for my daugher. She is my first child, and I have been working hard to create healthy and balanced sleep habits for her! We are on the right track and I can see how this tool would fit in well:) Looking forward to all those special bedtimes (hopefully without any tantrums or resistance!). I want to win, win, win!!!

  • Jessica williamson

Hi! We most definitely need a groClock!! Our son has always had sleeping issues and is now 20 months old and is still sleeping in our bed! We’ve tried everything to get him to have a nice peaceful sleep in his own room but nothing has worked…..so far! ;) . Thank you!

  • Dana Kinnear

Having a GroClock would be amazing for my family! Our youngest is 18 months and has never been a great sleeper, we will soon be welcoming another baby and hope that they could one day share a room! A GroClock would hopefully help ensure everyone gets a good nights sleep!!

  • Mindy Wyatt

What a GREAT idea!!! It would be wonderful as the wee one often gets confused and even sad when they are taken back to bed. This would stop that! Wee one will probably feel pretty rpoud of themselves too! I would love this for my little guy, although he is 3 months old now time flies and I am sure I will need it soon enough!

  • Nurse_jenn07

We have had sleep issues since my son was 6 weeks old and the colic set in. The colic lasted until 6 months and during that time he would only sleep by rocking, bouncing or nursing to sleep. Then the bad sleep habits of night waking continued and we nursed 2-3 times a night to get back to sleep. At 14 months we weaned him and got him down to waking once a night(for us to go in andcremind him that it is still night night time) and wakes early around 5:30. My son is now 18 months and we are trying to get rid of the night waking and early rising with no success. I hope to win the groClock and have it help our issues.

  • HollyM

I have 2 very bad sleepers and have been considering purchasing the groClock for awhile now. Expecially for my 3 yr old who wakes up from 3am onwards yelling see if she can “go downstairs yet?” I am crossing my fingers a groclock would do the trick. Looks fun and educational and could save me from 8 yrs of sleep deprivation!

  • Ashley Carriere

My little one gets up bright and early and always comes in our room. With this she would hopefully stay in her own room longer and we can have a better sleep!

  • Chantelle

I hope this is a random draw because I can’t compete with the comments below! My daughter is a great sleeper but will sometimes wake up 45 minutes to an hour early on occasion and is grumpy throughout the day because of it. I think the Gro Clock would help me teach her when it’s time to get up.

  • Vanderja

What a great contest. Would love a gro clock to help teach my little guy when to get up!

  • RebeccaDeClerk

My son is a super early riser (4:30 or 5) and now that he has a little sister I am finding it harder and harder to get up early with him, I love this idea and really could use one to help us all sleep a little longer and hopefully be a little less grumpy during the day

  • Lcirullo

I just had another little baby boy on March 13th and I would love to get this for my 2 .2 year old toddler. I have read all the great reviews and I would love to win one!!

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Jenny-Zapparoli-Dean/675415328 Jenny Zapparoli-Dean

I have a 26 month old who likes to get up TO EARLY in the morning. Some mornings it’s 5:30. This clock would help her remain in bed a few hours more… if mom is lucky! What a great teaching tool!

  • Katelyns78

This is such a great idea! My 2 1/2 yr old daughter still wakes up several times a night. I am actually going through exactly what you said in your blog right now! My daughter is visiting grandma and I’m getting some REAL sleep. WOW! what a difference it has made in my personality. I don’t like exhausted me very much :) If it works we might get one for visits at grandma’s house too – I think she is going to be quite tired by the weekend….

  • S_E

The Gro Clock would be a very welcome addition to our sleep routine. It will hopefully be the key to unlock the complete night’s sleep we have been dreaming of since we had our first child! Thank you for bringing this product to my attention and for the opportunity to hopefully win one!

  • Nelly

We would love to win a gro clock! I believe that healthy sleep habits and since we can’t expect toddlers to tell time, the gro clock is a great way to teach them when to sleep and when to wake up. Our baby is almost 6 months but time flies and would love to save it for when she’s a little older. And I would also really love to have a full night’s sleep, if this will help her do that!

  • Lpederson

With all of the extra daylight, we NEED a gro clock to help our son to know when it is time to go to sleep at night, and when tit is time to get up in the morning. This will just make better nights and happier kids and parents in our householod!!

  • Annejisca

Since we live so North, summer nights are short (10pm-4am) and this would be sooooooo useful! My son thinks that we only sleep when its dark! :)

  • Kira Machado

We so need a gro clock but not for the usual customer… My brother who is 22 has some significant disabilities. For the past few years he wakes between 3 and 4 a.m and thinks that the rest of the house should too, and we should come to change his television channels for him every 20 minutes! Something like this could provide positive visual reinforcement and hopefully help him understand we all need a little more sleep:)

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=574635502 Sonia Tsikitikos

Sounds like a fantastic product…my little one habitually wakes up 5am and I would love anything that would give me an extra hour or 2 to snooze! I’m sure she would be happier, being more well rested…and so would I! :)

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Geneviève-Paradis/524563239 Geneviève Paradis

I really need groclock, because I have a little 4 year old daughter who wakes up a few times a night to ask if it’s day and if she can stand. I also like a baby does not sleep through the night and well I need a few hours I have left … I think the clock could allow my daughter to avoid waking up at night to see if she can stand.

  • Drew Meghan86

My son has one and we know we’re going to want one for my daughter. This clock has worked well with my son and we’d live to win one for his sister. Thanks for the opportunity :)

  • Nicolemalekani

I think the groClock is one of the neatest clocks out there, as my baby grows I will be able to teach him how to tell time and with the lightening up feature it will help awaken the sense to awake time.

  • Kpre

I love this clock. I would like it for both my girls but right now in particular, my 4 year old who is all about when the sun rises and falls. I hope that this will help her understand time and that when the sun rises at 6 she doesn’t have to :)

  • Shelley P

I would love to win one of these amazing clocks! My daughter who is 16mths does not sleep through the night. I really miss my sleep!

  • Vicki

I think that this is such a great idea. I know that this could be the greatest clock that my son could use. We have tried so many different ways to keep him in bed longer and this sounds to be the next best thing to use. He gets up way to early and is raring to go for the day. but not mommy and daddy.

  • M Prassas

My 19 month old loves to try and stay up with us….it seems most people would be interested in sleeping in, we on the other hand would love for her to want to go to bed (we are early risers) so we can unwind.

  • Kathywtaylor

We definitely need a GloClock! We have a 2 1/2 and 4 1/2 year old who get up every night! With our 4 1/2 year old starting school in September we need to find something that will give us all a good night sleep and it sounds like the GloClock would do just that!!

  • Nessmonster

We have a night time visitor every night who does not seem to know when it is okay to get up. I have read great things about the groClock and would love to have one!

  • K Dudeck

After months of hard work, we felt we were doing well getting my son to sleep through the night, then we went to visit his gran in the UK. Now he is waking up earlier and earlier each morning. We’ve been back for 3 months and he is now waking up at 4 am crying and wants to come into bed with us. Of course this is what we allowed immediately after our UK trip, and now it has become a (bad) habit and lack of sleep has become the norm. We’d love a groclock to help teach our son to stay in bed until the sun shines!!

  • Andrea L

I could use a GroClock because, like the author of the blog, tiredness trumps rationality in the middle of the night and it is often easier to give into the kids. This would be a constant!

  • Econerly

I’d love to try the groClock and see if it would help my 18 month old sleep past 5:30am!

  • Amber de Tuba

I would love to win a gro clock. I have heard so many great things about it and it would be helpful for my 2.5 year old to know when it is still nighttime, so she doesn’t have to wake me up to ask!!

  • Kdklittle

My son and daughter in law just had a wonderful bundle of joy, my granddaughter, I love her so much and want what’s best for her! I have purchased many products from your store for them including a 2 year supply of diapers! If the groclock is as good as the rest of your items they will want one! Please me!
    Kim

  • Samdaye

I have a 2.5 year old daughter and another little girl on the way. My 2.5 year old is just about to move to a big girl bed and this clock would be the perfect thing for her to know when she can get out of bed in the morning. My sister also has an almost 4 year olf son and this would be perfect for him.

  • Corry Rowter

I, like your blogger, am sleep deprived! Everynight my daughter goes to sleep in her crib and just when I zone out, she cries to be picked up. As soon as I pick her up and bring her to bed, she sleeps like an angel. My husband and I on the other hand are sleeping on the edge of a king size bed while our little angel hogs the bed :) I am desperate and need to try this clock!!

  • Tmcneill

My daughter was always a good sleeper but now that she’s 3 she thinks she can stay awake till the sun outside goes down and get up with the sun outside

  • stella

We can’t fit 4 people in our bed!

  • Melissa Odonohue

My girlfriend just introduced me to this new product and I am so excited to get one for my 2.5 year old. He has recently begun talking about how it is time for bed because the sun is gone. Our trouble is with him waking all through the night for seemingly no reason. My husband and I try reminding him that there is no sun thus he needs to sleep but then he insists on seeing the moon….well some nights that is not possible and this results in a long winded, often challenging my calmness, conversation around the sun and moon and sleeping times! :) With the Gro Clock, my Son will be able to see his moon when he wakes up and hopefully learn to stay in bed as a result. He will be satistied that he can see the moon then wake up or not get out of bed until he sees the sun!!!!!!!!
You will never know my excitement as I read about this product and enter this comment:)
    Thanks, Melissa – Uxbridge ON

  • Cori LaPlante

My little snuggle bug (Aiden – 2.5 years old) loves to get up early… sometimes he even wants to get up at 4:30 am!! We are having a hard time explaining that it is too early to get up… the groClock will help everyone sleep in around here!!

  • Janice Welch

I would love to win one of these clocks. We’ve just sleep trained our son to sleep through the night, but he has gone from waking up at 6.30, to 5.30, and now is waking up at 4.30…I’d love for him to be able to wake up at a decent hour…especially, since sleep is important for his development at this age!

  • Momma bear

I have thought about purchasing a gro clock for my son to help him identify day from night but am a bit skeptical. After reading the posts it makes me excited to give it a try. I would love to win this product for free!! Here’s to hoping, I don’t ever win anything. Lol

  • Linda

That is so neat! I’m sure my daughter would love one and maybe, just maybe she wouldn’t feel the need to wake up before dawn every morning. ;)

  • Trena E

I would love one of these for my little guy. Even though he’s only 15 months he understands night time and does his sleepytime sign, but getting him into a set routine has been a challenge. I think this would help ushering him into a routine and that would be fabulous!

  • Elizabeth

We have a basement apartment and this clock would really help my 7 month old baby girl as she gets older understand when it is time to get up and when it is time to go to sleep. I have heard so many great things about the groclock and would love to have one of our own!

  • Candice

Oh gosh, I *need* this clock!! My little one rises at 5:10am every. single. morning. And mommy needs more sleep than that!

My girlfriend has one and it’s worked wonders for them, I’m sure it would do the same for us!!

  • ladhaa

I need a groClock because my son is an early riser and will wake up in the middle of the night and think it’s party time!!

  • Jenniferannwhite

This would be great for our twin girl’s bedroom this coming summer as they will be soon going into a toddler bed and the clock will be needed for sure. They are turning 2 on March 21, What a beautiful birthday gift this would be!!!

  • Rachael

What a neat idea this clock is and with that it actually works. I can say that I don’t think I deserve winning this clock any more than any other parent posting here, but, would love to have it it to help my son learn when its time to sleep and time to get up for the day.

  • Maureen

Ifirst saw these gro clocks at the baby show and loved them. I think they’re a really cute idea and although my snuggle bug is only 6 months old, after speaking with other moms and reading other comments I am sure that this will give us a great head start on a memorable bedtime routine

  • Charlene

Wow this concept is amazing! My son is 9 months and he has been an early riser from the beginning! I would love to see if this clock work! I know he is a little young yet but it would be amazing if he slept longer then I have something to look forward to! Reading this blog has made me want to try this product!

  • AmiM

I would love to give this product a try. We’re heading into toddlerhood and all of the mommies with babes a bit older than ours just rave about it!

  • Blythe

With 3 little girls under 5 years this clock would be a huge benefit. The two older girls sleep together and are always coming in to see if they can get up (especially when the baby cries at night). This would be a great teaching tool for them. With summer coming I am scared they will wake up at the first sign of light outside and this clock could help prevent that.

  • Mcleave

I would love to win this clock. With a new baby on the way, I am hesitant to switch my daughter to a bed, as I am afraid of early wakeups. This would be a nice addition to a new routine.

  • Angie Ozubko

We are going to be transitioning our little girl from her crib to a big girl bed in the next few months and fully expect her to be the kind of kid who gets up on her own because she feels like it. I was actually on your site yesterday looking at this product for this exact reason! Winning one would be amazing!!!

  • JD

I would love to have one of these clocks. A friend of mine bought one and said her daughter loves it! My daughter is now 4 and still not sleeping through the night, maybe this would help her realize that its still bedtime and she will stay in bed until the clock will let her know she can get out of bed!

  • Jaa611

I would love to give this a try! My little girl is only 9 months old, but I realize the importance of a good sleep routine, especially with me returning to work in a few months. I think this product is just the trick.

  • Lisa

Oh how I hope that this would work for my 27 month old boy who has never been a good sleeper (still intermittently wakes in the night). 1 month before the birth of our 3 month old daughter, my son decided to start waking up around 5am. Getting up 3x/night to nurse, having a husband who is a medical resident with long hours, and then up for the day at 5am with my toddler has lead to a very sleep deprived house. The Gro Clock sounds like it would help us immensely!

  • Belinda – Kentville, NS

I think we are going to need a GroClock soon. My daughter is 5 and does pretty good with sleeping but I have a 2.5 year old son and I think it is going to be an issue once he gets a “big bed”. It would be a great tool to have when he makes the switch.

  • Jenn Z

This seem likes a must have sleeping tool. Would love this to help transition my little ones from a crib to toddler bed:)

  • Richnjen

My daughter has always been an early riser, we really need this clock :)

  • Olga

This sounds like a great product! We will be transitioning our daughter from crib to bed soon and I have a feeling that we will need some help to keep her in bed and asleep since she hasn’t always been the best sleeper! So would absolutely love a groClock to help make this transition easier on all!

  • CPD

I never saw this product before today but I believe it is a great invention. My son loves to accomplish tasks and especially when it is acknowledged by his parents. For instance, when he was learning to sort blocks and we clap our hands indicating he has done well. I believe the groClock is similar in a way that it gives a big smiling sun when the child has accomplished staying in bed all night. I would love to win one, I think it would be a huge benefit to our son (and us) to get a good night sleep.

  • Pikachiaule

Oh my god, this is what I need to controll the wake up time of my little one !! I’m on the verge of having a second baby and I would want some sleep before it’s venue !! It is so cute, I’m sure my little one would want it in her room and stick to the sun and moon !! Thanks for the contest !! Valerie from Saint-Mathieu, Quebec !

  • Erin

I think it will be a great tool to use!

  • Cmoitqui

    i need one please

  • Tina M

My husband and I could sure use this! Our 3 year old has always been an early riser and is usually up at least once throughout the night! This can make for very long, exhausting days! I think our son would absolutely benefit from this amazing clock…Mommy & Papa too!

  • Cheryl Drager

    Cheryl Drager

This looks like an amazing product would help greatly with my 5 year old’s tendancy to get up before the sun

  • Jenny Huether

I need this clock because my 2 and half year old son likes to think it’s time to get up at 5am!!!
We have a newborn and need the extra sleep when we can, so this would be WONDERFUL!

    Help us! :)

  • Nicolestienstra

We had have a sleep doula help us to get my 1 year old to sleep through the night and she recommends getting a gro clock for when she gets a bit older so, I trust her judgment and would love to win one!!

  • Jenny Orr

We have a busy two year and she loves to start the day way before the sun comes up. If my husband or I go in and snuggle with her then she will sleep until a more reasonable hour like 6:30am. I think she as well as us would benefit from having a grow clock in our house. This would allow her to be more independent and give mommy and daddy that extra hour of much needed sleep. Great contest idea! Jenny Orr

  • Yvonne Chan

We’re expecting our first and would love one for when he’s older!

  • Jennifer Az

Myles hasn’t slept well since he was born. He is now 2.5 and in a big boy bed so I can use any help with trying to help him understand with visual cues when it’s appropriate to get put of bed and when he needs to stay put. Sigh.

  • Katie Quimby

My family definitely needs one! With a 3 year old and 15 month old, we need all the help we can get in terms of sleep!!! Thanks for a great contest :)

  • Sarmstrong

Purchased a Groclock for our 3 year old grandson. He was waking early every morning and asking his parents if it was time to get up, thus disturbing their sleep and that of his younger brother. No more disruptions as he waits until the clock tells him to get up. He loves it, especially since it is his clock. Happy parents, happy grandparents since mom and dad think it was such a terrific gift.

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Liz-Hunter/727086419 Liz Hunter

Honestly, my four year old has never slept through the night!! I need to do something…I miss sleep! A friend of mine just bought one and I am waiting for her review.

    Please pick me!

  • Sarah K.

This clock looks awesome! I could totally use one! My two year old wakes up at all hours of the night and pounds on the wall to our room (his room is right next to ours) until I come in! All he needs is to be tucked back into bed but man, it’s every night at least two or three times – sometimes more! I’d love to have a gro clock to teach him not to get out of bed until the sun is showing! Such an amazing product. Thanks for the giveaway!

  • Marie-Josee L.

I would like to try this clock for my little girl, we’d like to have more sleep in the morning!

  • Rturchi82

It’s adorable and reviews are through the roof positive… I’m about to have my baby and I couldn’t be more excited to win a groClock!! Pick me please! :)

  • Danielle D

I was one of those “lucky moms” who had a baby who slept nights his nights at a month old and continued to do so consistently…until recently. At just over 2, he can move the gate we put on his door and jump into bed with mommy and daddy early in the AM. It wouldn’t be a huge issue if he actually went back to sleep! Instead he talks to us, pokes up, plays cars on us, jumps on us, etc. Mommy is also a shift worker (2 12 hour days followed by 2 12 hour nights) and could really use that extra 2-3 hours of sleep in the morning :)

  • Nelf13

This would be great for our little one….willing to try anything to help him sleep (especially when so many people swear by it!!!!)

  • Jo

This looks like a great product and a great part of a regular bedtime routine!

  • KarenH

Would love to try this clock with my 2 year old. He’s a very early riser and I’d love to see if it would help him stay in bed for just 1/2 longer in the morning

  • Kristin

We are nervous to move our first born into a toddler bed as she will be able to get out and roam before it is time to get up. A groClock would help us all with this new milestone transition!

  • http://twitter.com/LilyRileygran Cathy Fischer

OH that sounds like the right thing for our grandson…. he makes nightly visits to his parents room every night. So is I am fortunate enough to win it will be heading to their house.

  • Libby

We usually open the curtains downstairs in our home when we wake up to say good morning sun, and close the curtains at night to say good night moon before bed. Recently our two 1/2 year old has been having frequent night and really early wakings. We find him downstairs in the dark trying to find the sun to see if it’s morning!!! Omigosh! A Groclock would be a safe way to allow him to wake up to the sun in his room and would be a nice way to wish the moon a goodnight!

  • Amanda M

I like that it teaches great sleep habits. I would love one for my little guy

  • matriarchivist

We have one for big sister (thanks Snuggle Bugz!) and need one now that we’re planning a “big girl room” for little sister. Fingers crossed….

  • Mark

Would be great to win this – seems like a great idea. We really need to get our 3-year-old sleeping in his own bed and something like this might be just the ticket.

  • C Charko

My daughter is a horrible sleeper. We have tried everything and nothing works. Now am back at work and the groClock sounds like something that will save my sanity!

  • Hetesh

Looks like a good idea and believe it would work. Would love to give it a try.

  • Jaxs

Can’t wait to try out this clock when my son gets a little older. Seems like a great tool as part of a bedtime routine and to ease the transition from crib to toddler bed!

  • JennC

My Son will be 6 at the end of June. He doesnt sleep through the night. Most of the time his question is “time to get up Mommy?” I would love the opportunity to try this product… and get some sleep…zzzzz.

  • Leanne

I think the groClock is a genius idea and I can’t wait to use one with my son! Hope I’m the winner! :)

  • kathy downey

  • Moneybee

my son and his lady are expecting a new baby… they both work but dont have a lot of money to spread around, and I kow this would be such a help for them so they could get some sleep…… please pick me! I sure would like to help these kids out with an item that would really be useful to them… thank you for making such a great product that is helpful to so many…… :)

  • Dlarkin

My son wakes up too early sometimes, and I think this is way better of an idea than a clock at this age (3), so I would really love to try it.

  • Annick

We have a 2 year old boy who has never slept on his own, still at 2 we have to stay with him in his room to sleep! Its a pain especially now that we have a newborn baby at home. Need the clock badly!!!!!! Please :)

  • Tammy

I would love to try this clock…IT will my daughter a great understanding of day and night and maybe I could a little sleep in sometimes :) Tammy

  • Sophiepage80

I heard really good things about groClock and would like to try it for my 3 year old son cause he wakes up way to early and sometimes does messes in the kitchen and wakes up his twin brothers witch are 8 months old. Also, it would be great to pass it on to my twin boys after my 3 year old will be done with it cause i would definatly need some sleep :)

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100001136203894 Matthew Jones

What a great product… My kids will love it… And So will I!!

  • Sarah O’Brien

Oh my gosh. This clock is genius!!! If it can work for so many others, I’d love to give it a wholehearted shot with my 2 year old who has NEVER slept through the night, let alone in his own bed. I’m already starting to form some great stories around “little people get up with the sunshine”. Please, please.. please!

  • Alyssa Gillingham

I could DEFNINITLY use this product. Since my babe has come home from the hospitial her older brother finds it necessary to be coming in our room too, since she is still sleeping in our room.

  • Irena

My wonderful son has the 5am wakeup that others have talked about and I would LOVE to sleep in until 6:30!

  • Jane Hofer

I would love the Gro Clock for when my son gets a little older as e is a very early bird!

  • kate stevenson

This is such a genius product. I have two little ones that take turns getting out of bed at all hours of the early morning waking me and asking if it’s time to get up. I am so happy with all the great reviews I have read and plan on getting a GroClock for each of them winning one would be awesome.

  • Amy would like to sleep!

I have a 12 month old who has yet to sleep through the night. We even hired a sleep consultant and he is still waking once or twice a night as well as being an early riser. I am working but getting up at 5 just isn’t necessary! Although I think he may be a wee young for it at the moment, it sure could come in handy soon!

  • Sandrachartier13

I would win so much!!!!! My 3 years old son does’nt sleep more than 4-5 hours by day since he was borned…And I have my little daughter that has 7 months… So we just so burn and I think for our mentaly hapiness it was very interesting to win this product!

  • Tanya_godard

I would love this clock for my two busy boys who share a room. They are 4 and 2 and seem to be waking up earlier each week! They wake each other up to play, and then proceed to wake ip their 8 month old sister so she can be in on the action too! We need this to help them stay in their room and learn to sleep a little bit longer! Thanks Snugglebugz for a great contest!

  • Barbs

oh how I would love a GRO clock, I have 3 boys 6,4 and 9 months old. They are all early risers and wake up through the night it is rare that I wake in the morning without all 3 in our bed, as you said it is the choice between sleep or fight them back to their own beds. From all these wonderful reviews it seems my problems would be solved. Oh to have the energy of a full nights sleep.

  • AmandaR

We would love a GroClock! We have a little boy who wakes up every morning bright and early to go play with Lighting and Tow Truck (from Cars) so we would try anything to keep him in bed later then 5am!

  • laura

Why am I thinking I would love to win this? because I NEED SLEEP!. At 5am when I hear my 18 month old calling out every word she knows, and I can hardly open a eye, you think to yourself, really??? go back to sleep, the sun isn’t even up yet,so what better way then a clock that actually shows them that yes, the sun isn’t up yet and I need to go back to sleep so Mommy can function! I know I would use and love this clock.

  • Stacey Young

This is awesome! I love the idea of a visual for our toddler.
That being said- I would LOVE to win this in order to actually get to sleep again! I’m not kidding. Our lil’ 2yr old is still in our bed and we would like to transition her to her own bed. I think this would help! So please… PICK ME! PICK ME!!! ;)

  • BrandyP

i would love a good solid night’s sleep, with 3 kids 6, 5 & 22mths it feels like i never sleep anymore. my kids like to wake up with the birds – the first hint of daylight sees them up and the first one up wakes up EVERYONE. also at night they seem to think that like birds if they see daylight it’s still daytime. a groclock would certainly help them to figure out time while we teach them to tell actual time :-)

  • Bonbon

I’ve heard nothing but wonderful comments about the GroClock. So i offered my nephew (notorious early riser) a GroClock for christmas. He loves it. My sister now enjoys a full night’s sleep!! (her Kids are 5, 3.5, 2 (the GroClock user), and she’s expecting AGAIN in a month! So you can imagine how happy she is…. Talk about the gift that keeps on giving!
Now my son is about to transition to a bed. I would love to win the GroClock to help him stay in bed, and AWAY from his toy cars and garage! : ) And also from his light fixture fascination. Who wants to wake up at 3 AM to all lights on in the house, and one proud and smiling tot….. not me.

    thanks!

  • Mommy22

I have a 14 month old who has yet to sleep through the night, a 2 year old who is working hard trying to convince me that as long as the sun is up it’s daytime (I think the star on the clock could help convince him otherwise) and another baby due in 14 weeks. I’m certain this clock would help with someone….

  • SuzanneG

I have a 2 year old who loves to tell us it’s time to get up at 630 in the morning…. our 11 month old sleeps till 7:30… any extra sleep would be awesome!!

  • Jpallas

My son has always been a light sleeper and 2-3 hrs at a time at night.
Now that he’s almost 3 and wakes his little 1yr old sister with his bird chirps and yells to get up and play!!!!
well before any birds should be up!! This would be awesome to try. I have the grO egg and love the temp so he would be old enough to try this! Fingers crossed on a great contest!! :) Jessica “tired Muma of 2 beautiful babes.”

  • Barb

I have a 1.5 year old who has always been an early bird. I think this gro clock is what we will need once she is a little older–love the simple visual of the sun–seems perfect!

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=517421794 Erin Sims

I am soooo tired…what I would give for my son to sleep through the night! This clock just may be the solution, and I would love to give it a try.

  • Kristen

I have heard great things about this clock and I’d love to try it out with our daughter! Any extra sleep is much appreciated :)

  • Michelle Bradley

My granddaughter is having sleeping difficulties and this GroClock could help my family.

  • Kala

What parent doesn’t need more sleep! And if a gro clock would help me sleep in a little more (and perhaps help my little one get more sleep during the night so she’s not as cranky), that would be amazing!

  • erica

You basically summarized the past 3 years of my life! No. 2 is due in less than 3 weeks, and I’m starting to panic because papa is sleeping with No. 1 between 12 and 6 am, and I’ll be stuck with exclusive newborn duty. Help!!

  • Nadia

My little guy is an early riser, I do not remember what it is like to sleep past 5:30am. I have heard great things about this clock and would love to win it and hopefully get some sleep :) Thanks! :)

  • Stacey

I would love to win this for my 3 year old! It would be awesome for everyone in our family to get a bit more sleep:)

  • Chantal C.

Ok, this looks like just what we need! My son, 4 years old, has been coming into our room every night since we switched him into a big boy bed before he turned 3. Without fail, at some point between midnight and 3am, he comes running down the hallway at full speed, into our room. I want him to learn to stay in his room, especially with the bright mornings coming soon. I think that this clock would be ideal, and help him get the rest he needs to feel rested for school (he’s in full-day JK). With him coming to our room, and having a 5 month old baby to care for, I’m in need of more sleep! :)

  • Chokisan

Where to start? Maybe by saying that before having my daughter, my hair was black without any greys… Now I find 10 grays per day on my head… We have always heard ‘SLEEP LIKE A BABY’ whoever said that, he didn’t meet my baby, she wakes every 2 hours at night asking for mommy, and mommy can’t help it, when my baby cries, I feel I need to Be with her… I heard very good comments about the gro clock, and I wonder if getting it would stop my fast forward aging and help my baby to sleep soundly… I’d consider giving it a try before letting my baby cry…

  • Trishna

On February 24th we became the proud parents of 2 boys under 2. Our 15 month old toddler who once was an amazing through-the-night sleeper has since regressed to protesting at bedtime and waking up at various times throughout the night. It seems he realizes that if he cries Mommy & Daddy will have to cuddle him and feed him milk just like his baby brother. Some nights it feels like they are tag teaming us and we are very quickly becoming burnt out beyond exhaustion. Furthermore, this mama is trying to balance sleepless nights while recovering from a c-section. We are soooo tired! We will try anything at this point and winning this clock would be a much-appreciated surprise!

  • Dawn

I am up a lot in the night with my daughter so if this could get me more sleep in the morning before my son gets up, that would be great!

  • Nam

I am sleep-deprived since my son was born. He’s two years old and seems to wake up earlier every week!
He then wakes up everyone…. Today our whole family’s been awake since 5:20am
This clock might be the solution… I ‘d like to give it a try!

  • Ericka

We have one and to be honest it was a little bit of nuisance as the kids can easily touch the buttons, but since the time change and I have put the clock up high it has worked great for our early riser.

  • Ericka

We have one and to be honest it was a little bit of nuisance as the kids can easily touch the buttons, but since the time change and I have put the clock up high it has worked great for our early riser.

  • A Lunn

We have a 2 and half year old that like to wake up at 6am every morning! We try putting to bed later, thinking that he would sllep in….yeah right he would still wake up at 6am! Now we have a 4 and a half month old and sleep is definatley not in the picture! We are so tired. We definatley need one of these. Its fine that I can not get any sleep beacuse of our bew one, but my husband should have a good sleep and not worry about our oldest. This clock sounds like a great idea and we are hoping that it would help us out. Thank you.

  • Marcie R

This sounds like a great product to try. I have an almost 3 year old who gets up in the middle or early hours of the morning and climbs into mom and dad’s bed. Hence no sleep for anyone. If this could get my child to sleep through the night, that would be amazing.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=704090640 Ester Glavin

I would love to win this product to give to my niece, sounds like a fantastic idea! I bet this does wonders for sleep training and my sister would love to get a full night sleep again!

  • Javonparris

I’d like to win this for my cousin so he can sleep better

  • P Veinot

This product would be perfect for my grandson as he has trouble sleeping all through the night and it would be a tremendous relief for his parents if they had a full nights sleep. He likes to get up in the night and come into their bed but this is disturbing for their sleep. I would love to win this for them and let them sleep all night again !!! Looks like a great product !!!! Pat Veinot

  • Deanna Thompson

Winning a GroClock would be fantastic! My son has had a difficult time with sun rising so much earlier in the spring (and his own rising much earlier). Reading the reviews and comments from those that own a GroClock, it would be a wonderful tool to use to teach him about when we go to sleep and when we rise. Plus, it is really cool looking!

  • Stacey Gent

My daughter is an earl riser, and with new baby due in 4 weeks, anything that will help to keep her in bed and let me get some sleep would be fantastic!

  • Melanie Thomson

I need a gro clock because my 3 1/2 year old daughter gets up super early every day!

  • tina.f

I have a son with autism and boy there are always issues. I would so love to see if this works with him. If it does it would be a great products for all families with autism to try maybe

  • Veryverymary

I want to win one for my nephew, he is 3 and has yet to sleep through the night. His poor parents!! They really need this.

  • Paul R

I would love to win this clock to give to a child with autism

  • Julia

We would love to win the Gro Clock so that everybody can have more sleep!

  • Kim Nickerson

I am trying to sleep train my 28 month old dd to stay in her bed after co sleeping. We have the first part of the night down then she wakes and comes in to our room. Thinking the Gro Clock would be an awesome way to introduce her to the concept of staying in bed still she see the sun on the clock. Very cool :)

  • Shalan

I currently have one of the Gro Clocks for my 2 year old so he understands when they stars are out that it is bedtime.
I would love to have another one for my 6 and 4 year old. That way my 6 year old can tell the time and my 4 year old can go by the stars. ;)

  • gibberish (Julie G.)

I would love to win this for my grandson. He is horrible for staying in his own room & bed & this clock sounds like the perfect ‘cure’

  • Nicola

This clock looks amazing!!! As a sleep-deprived mom, I would absolutely love my son to happily stay in bed until the sun appears on the clock so that I could get an extra hour of sleep. It sounds like my dream product!!

  • Ginny_Is24

I just so love the idea of creating a child who be independent. Groclock supports growing up!!

  • Kristen B

I love the idea behind this and would love to see it in action!

  • Shannon

I’d love to have a Gro Clock for my (almost) 3 year old who has decided he no longer needs naps! And the novelty of his new “big boy bed” has worn off and he’s recently discovered he can get out of bed without waiting for Mommy and Daddy to come get him…

  • Rebel

Seems sensible to try and have an expectation on sleep that the little ones can understand. I am scared of sleep problems that my friends have shared with me and want to make sure that I am on top of everything to try and avoid sleep problems.

  • Winnie H.

Heard of GroClock but didn’t know how it works until now. Really love the idea and I definitely need one. My 2 years old girl sometimes wake up in the middle of the night and it makes things harder cause we have a newborn too.

  • Jodie Hannah

I would love to win one of these clocks! I have been wanting one for our 2.5 year old daughter ever since she moved into a big bed in her new big girl room! She is up at the crack of dawn, and this would definitely help her to know when she can come out of her room, and when she should stay and read or play quietly, if she is awake.

  • Anonymous

I’m travelling to the UK and what I’m most worried about is not the flight with a 6 month old and 2 year old by myself but trying to get my 2 year old to sleep in past 2 in the morning once we get back to Canada. This may be the answer to my prayers!!!

  • Abby

I’ve been looking for this clock for the past year to help teach my 3 year old to know when its time to get up from her big girl bed. After our 15 month old decided to climb out of her crib one morning, now we have both pitter pattering to our room between the hours of 2 and 5 am every night. They fall back asleep with us, but they end up waking up soon after, while we get ready to go to work. They are exhausted in the morning. I am certain that their mornings would be a lot more productive if they have a groclock that will cue them to know whether to go back to sleep or get up.

  • Cali

We would love to win a groclock for both our boys. It would give our oldest, who is almost 3, a chance to learn and understand about time in a really fun and interactive way.

  • AH

Sounds like an amazing product. When my son is ready for it, I would love to have this!

  • Daddy1

We have had a difficult time transitioning both of our girls into their big girl beds, and they both end up in our bed before morning. The groclock would be a great tool to help us teach them when to get out of bed in the morning.

  • Ammai

I would love to win a groclock for my niece.

  • Maggie

We would love to win a groclock to help our grandkids stay in bed at night.

  • Emma Wilson

I would love to win a Gro Clock! I’ve heard nothing but good things about them and I would like to use it with my daughter when she is old enough.

  • Lara M

Please! We so need this right now…..it’s already on my short list to get but winning one would be even better!

  • Anonymous

On February 24th we became the proud parents of 2 boys under 2. Our 15 month old toddler who once was an amazing through-the-night sleeper has since regressed to protesting at bedtime and waking up at various times throughout the night. It seems he realizes that if he cries Mommy & Daddy will have to cuddle him and feed him milk just like his baby brother. Some nights it feels like they are tag teaming us and we are very quickly becoming burnt out beyond exhaustion. We will try anything at this point!

  • Jennifer Chan

I’ve been looking and debating buying a groClock for many weeks. My husband and I had always been “night owls” but this all changed drastically once our son came along! It would be great to have a groClock to try out in the hopes that us adults could reclaim a bit of our sleep (and sanity).

  • Irene S

As a grade one teacher, this clock is a great introduction to looking at how times passes clockwise. As a new mom, I would love a full night’s sleep!

  • NJH

Would love to try this when we transition our son to a big bed!

  • http://www.facebook.com/amanda.alvarado17 Amanda Alvarado

Our dd loves waking up around 4-5am and coming into bed with us. Maybe with one of these, she will stay in her own bed until it is time for us to get up! I would love another 2 hrs of uninterrupted sleep! And I know dh would love you for life since he usually ends up on the couch for those last 2 hrs!

  • Crypie

I would love a groclock to teach my daughter how to better understand time. I would also use it for my son after my daughter has outgrown the groclock.

  • Danica-marshall

My youngest son has always been a rough sleeper. We are going to be moving him to a ‘big boy bed’ in the next few months and I am fearful of what nights will become when he can get out of bed. I think the gro-clock would be a tremendous help to us in helping him learn to stay on bed all night!

  • Anonymous

I would love to get the groClock!!! We are trying our best to have a good routine for our daughter. Especially when it comes to bedtime! I think this clock will help us all get in a good routine starting right from the morning (not having to rush to work;) to bedtime(our baby girl not fighting her sleep and crying)!

  • Ron Tupas

The groClock sounds like an amazing product! My wife and I would love to have this for our son so that we can sneak in an extra hour or so of sleep! This will be great!

  • Grandma

This would be a wonderful gift for my 12 month old granddaughter. She is at the age where she would begin to understand the concept of the Groclock. I’m sure it would comfort her when she occasionally awakens during the night to have a little reminder that it is sleep time. It’s a great learning tool.

  • Amanda Bourassa

I have been really trying to find an option that will keep our little guy in bed longer. He thinks as soon as there is a little bit of light peeking behind his dark shades, that it’s okay to get up. This seems like it would be a great way to teach him that there is more to it than just lightness/darkness. I would love to win this and give it a try!

  • Terri

I’ve been looking for a solution to our sleepless nights and this clock sounds innovative with many success stories. I think my kids would love the clock and anticipate seeing the “sun rise”.

We have a 3 1/2, a 21 month old and a 4 week old newborn. Our kids are all young and even though the two older boys are fairly independent, they still wake in the middle of the night and call out for either Mommy or Daddy. Wake up morning time is hit and miss – sometimes they wake up at 5 am and some times we can’t get them out of bed at 7am for preschool and daycare. I am the first to admit that I would never dispense advice on sleeping as I’ve never succeeded. If this tool can help us cut out the middle of the night outcries and keep them in bed until wake up time, it would help us out greatly with getting a better night’s sleep. It is not uncommon for all three children to wake in one night and my husband and I often have to play musical beds! It’s not unheard of for us to sleep in 3 different beds in one night! With a nursing newborn who feeds every 3-4 hours and sons that wake and call out for us, it would be nice to get more than 3 hours of sleep per night!

Searching for some sleep and sanity!

    Thanks!

  • Mark Veinot

Would love to win this for our 3-year-old son who still likes to sleep in our bed most nights. A clock like this might be just the inspiration he needs to stay the night in his own bed.

  • Jenniferlynnsur

My nephew would really love this- it would help him to sleep through the night in his own big boy bed :) He would love seeing the moon- which he calls “mac the moon” whenever he sees the moon :)

  • Miranda

Our elder son alwasys asks “Is it the morning?” when we come in to wake him up. I think this clock would be a great help to getting him to figure out time-of-day so he knows whether it’s time to get up or go to sleep.

  • AmyB

    The GroClock video is precious!!
The happy moon face would be a reassuring site to wake up to in the middle of the night. The glow of the clock can double as a night light and the dissappearing stars are a great intro to telling time.
I would love one of these clever devices!

  • Jenapate

We would love to have to have a groClock to help us and our toddler get more sleep! We have tried everything from blacking out the windows, negotiating, all the way to plain out right begging and nothing has really worked! Our joke is that our toddler does a great job of keeping himself an only child with this crazy sleep patterns! I would be very grateful for the chance to try the groClock, and to perhaps see what it feels like to not see the sunrise!!

  • Sherry F

I would love to get one of these for my granddaughter to help teach her to stay in bed a bit longer. It would really help out my daughter.

  • TinaS

My daughter will be moving into a big girl bed in a few weeks. This seems like it would be just the thing to help teach her when not to and to get out of bed! Thanks, Snugglebugz, for sharing another great product!! :)

  • carol

I live in the Yukon and we have almost 24 hour daylight for months followed by almost 24 hour darkness for months. It’s hard to explain to my 4 year old why he has to go to bed in bright sun or that it’s still 4 am and he can’t get out of bed even though it looks like it’s sunny morning. This would be an amazing help.

  • Kelly

I need one of these for my soon to be 3 year old daughter! She’s always up before 6, always has been an early riser. Now she’s waking her younger brother up too early! I’d love to find something to help her sleep to 6:30 or 7:00!

  • Charity Friesen

my son wakes up at 5am every morning! i try and wait till 6 to get him up for the day and he’s getting to the age that this clock might be just the thing to help this work! with a new baby on the way, it would be GREAT if he could learn to sleep later :)

  • Rebecca D.

I think my daughter will love this clock. It will be a perfect way for her to know when she can get out of bed.

  • Marneszutka

Ever since we moved our son to his toddler bed, sleep is a thing of the past. He is up and out of his bed every other hour. I would love a way to teach him when it’s time to sleep and when it’s time to get up. This clock sounds like the perfect way to get him back on track. Fun for him and a goodnights sleep for everyone!!

  • Laura

I’ve heard lots of good things about the GroClock from my friends. It’s just about time (pun intended!) that we tried it out ourselves!

  • Anonymous

My 2 1/2 year old isn’t the greatest sleeper and often end up in bed with us. She comes into our room in the middle of the night and says “mornin”. I’ve been looking at getting one of these in hopes of teaching her when to stay in bed and when to get up. I would LOVE to win one!

  • Jack’s Mom

My friend’s use it and love it. My son is 9 months old, but it would be something he could ‘gro’ into :D

  • Eva

I’ve heard great things and would love to try it out with my DD when she gets a bit older. She is 10 months now.

  • Michelle Puddy

We are first time parents and as much as we love snuggling with our daughter she needs to sleep in her own crib as she is almost a year. I believe this will help her with her transition and allow her to sleep the night through, especially after reading all of the great stories posted above

  • Anonymous

I think this product sounds wonderful. My dd is only 7 months, but I hear from other parents with older children that morning time isn’t the easiest! This GroClock, helps the kids help themselves, and they don’t need to stand outside your door at 5 am singing “Mommy its the morning”
Its products like these that are worth acquiring! Not only does it look great, but its useful, practical and kid friendly !!What an ingenious invention that will help kids everywhere learn to understand the concept of time! Here’s to a good nights sleep for all the moms and dads out there!!

  • LJBird

Sounds like an ingenious product. I would love to have one to help my son learn to distinguish bedtime and morning al on his own.

  • Janis

Am expecting my first this summer. Would love a clock like this to steer him in right path with his sleep patterns as he gets older.

  • babysunflower

This clock looks like exactly the thing I will need to help my little one get into a good sleep routine as she moves into toddlerhood!

  • Alexis Radonicich

I would love to add this clock to my daughter’s bedtime/wake up routine! She’s just started to get up at the crazy hours of the morning, and has been occupying space in our bed for the past two weeks! Maybe this could help my hubby and I get a little extra sleep!

  • Sarah Nusink

I would love to have one of these to help with keeping my toddler in his own bed at night so we can all have a good night sleep.

  • Lara

The Gro Clock may be the answer I have been dreaming of! My boys are very early risers (now thanks to the time change, they will “sleep in” until 5:30 a.m.). Although, no thanks to the time change, they don’t want to go to sleep at bedtime, because “It is morning outside!”.

  • Laura

My daughter has not been a great sleeper since she was about 6 months old. Unfortunately, we have had some tough life challenges (bike accident, my mother’s cancer diagnosis and passing, moving house) that have made it near impossible to for her to get into a good sleep routine). Sh

  • Amy V

Our son has recently moved to a “big bed” and our once peaceful quite independent bedtime routine has fallen to bits!! We are having to coax him to bed, and he is waking in the nights and getting out of bed wanting to get a drink, get dressed, sleep with us, read a book, you name it, he’s tried it!! He is just 2 yrs old but has a great understanding of concepts if they are visual. I think this visual cue would be PERFECT for him!! It would be great to avoid the 6am mornings too :)

  • Teresa

My ds is almost 6 mths and would love to have this for when he gets older! I have heard nothing but great things about this clock and all the stories above are a testament to that! I desperately miss sleep and look forward to the day that I can sleep through the night again!

  • sarahheyink

I like this concept – maybe it would be a way to get my three year old to stay in bed past 6am!

  • Sissy

Would love to have this for our early riser! Seems like a great idea to encourage staying in bed (or playing quietly).

  • Afterpi

our 4 year old son sleeps in the bed with us and our six month old in the craddle beside me. i forget what it’s like to have a good night’s sleep. we recently purchased a new bed for the 4 year old and we hope it will excite hime to sleep alone in his room because it is a bunk bed, this gro clock might make it easier!

  • Evelyn

My daughter has a GroClock and it really does work! She was waking up before 6:00 am, and that was just not working for us. As soon as she got it, she understood the concept and was excited to listen to her clock. She now always stays in her room quietly until the sun comes up, what a great product! I’d love to win one for my son who will need a big boy bed soon. :)

  • Lacey_dupuis

I would love to win a groclock for my 21 month old son! I’m sure it would help to keep in his bed insead of comming to ours at 3.00am! With a new baby comming in September I’m sure this would help.

  • Heather

My 2yr old wakes 3 times a night wanting to get up and start his day. He gets up between 4:30am-5:30am a day when he does sleep in to 6am its like a miracle. We’ve tried many different things, I’m running out of ideas and this might be my only hope. I also have a 1yr old and I’m hoping we skip that stage all together.

  • Anonymous

My (almost) 3 year old son has developed a pretty good understanding of dark = sleepytime. The problem is that now the days are getting shorter and he’s getting up earlier and earlier :P Since I’m frequently up until close to midnight with the baby I need that hour of sleep in the morning back!

  • http://www.facebook.com/trista.dollimount Trista M Dollimount

very cute, just don’t get how your kid would follow that rule, how would you make him listen? only when the sun comes up other than that you must stay in bed cause it is night night time. my son is two and i think it would be a laugh even if i said there was a treat in it he would want the treat now i have a 6 month old and she wakes up all the time but she would be to young to under stand i think would be very interesting to see for my self.

  • Theresa Tracanelli

I would love love love one of these. Both my girls currently share a room. One is 3yrs and one is 7 months. And both of them are constantly waking each other up. This would greatly help my 3 year old. thanks.

  • Darlyn Reyes

Such a simple idea which probably why it works. Want to try it out on my LO

  • Kari Mills

I bought one of these for my daughter and it actually works! She goes to sleep with the stars, and runs to tell my when she sees the sun! Love it! I want another one for my son to help him with his sleep too!!

  • Mcfarlanes1

Would love to try a GroClock to help my daughter sleep through the night so I can enjoy a good nights rest for once.

  • Bonnie

I would love to see if this would help my step-daughter stay in bed all night. She’s 5 and still wakes up at 2am or so every night for some reason.

  • stephanie

i am obsessed with these! i always said that once i had a kid i would get one, that’s how long i’ve loved them! i just had a daughter a year ago and it would be a great little addition to her room that she could grow into!

  • Sheena

I would love to use one of these for my son who is almost one and still gets up 2 times a night as he gets older I would love to get him into using the groclock as maybe one day I can feel well rested again.

  • Caroline

I need a gro clock because though my baby is young I want him to understand the difference between night and day early on and the visual displays will help.

  • Jen McPetrie

My little angel loves to wake me up before the crack of dawn! She is thrilled with herself though, since she “slept through the whole night!” which was a battle of its own up until 6 months ago. Well not she wakes up and believes everyone in the house should be up with her! :) I would love to win a grow clock to help her learn that its still “too early” to get up if her clock has not woke her. Thanks snuggle bugz!

  • Blt178

We are on the verge of moving our daughter into her big girl bed and I’m super nervous about how this is going to go! This clock looks like it could be a good addition to the transition plan!

  • Lauraroad

I NEED this!!! My 3 year old is getting up earlier and earlier every day since we had our newest baby…..he seems to think that if he gets up early he will be a “baby” too :( I have tried to tell him he cant get up till its light out, but he doesnt seem to worry about it…..i am really hoping that this might help give this new 2nd time mommy a little extra sleep!!!!

  • mel123

My two children sleep together and are constantly getting up before they should. This clock would be a great help in getting them up at the correct time!

  • Heather

We have been thinking about getting a groClok for our daughter for a little while now and would LOVE to win one! We recently found out that #2 is on the way, and feel that having a groClock would be beneficial for the sleep patterns of our first while starting all over again with our second little bundle of joy!

  • Terra

Great contest! I could really use one for my 20 month old when we transition her to a regular bed. I’d also love to show these to some families I consult with whose children have issues with sleeping.

  • http://www.tips4mommies.com/ Deb

We just modified my daughter’s crib to add the toddler rail and would love this clock to help us get some extra sleep in the morning.

  • Clay

This clock would be great to help teach my girls when it is time to wake up in the morning

  • Cathy S

Looking for a way to get my girl to stay in bed until a decent “wake up” time. One suggestion was to use a clock radio and just put tape over the digits for the minutes so only the hour is showing, then instructing your child to stay in bed until the right hour. I like that the GroClock can be used by kids who cannot read yet and is straightforward (i.e. when you see the sun, it’s wake up time).

  • http://www.facebook.com/geetika.chandran Geetika Chandran

Oh man do I ever need the gro clock! We had numerous issues with getting our little one to sleep. She was born just over 4lbs. When we got her home she was too tiny for her bassinet, and even tinier for the crib, so we ended up co-sleeping which worked well for us for a bit. After 7 months of little sleep we acquired the help of a sleep consultant to help up transition our sweetheart into her crib without little tears. It was tougher on us than her I would say. Now that she is in her crib she often wakes earlier than she needs to be and it would be helpful for her to have something like this. We would love to win one of these and give it a whirl! It would be a fabulous birthday gift for her upcoming 1st birthday!

  • Christine M.

Would love to get this for my nephew. My sister has her hands full with five kids so it would be great for helping him learn about when to get up and when to stay in bed.

  • bnhollman

I have 3 boys 3 and under and nap time can be a battle, they lay there for 15minutes, fall asleep for 5 and wake up thinking they had a 2 hour nap but really it was none at all. The groclock would really save from fights trying to get them to go back to bed again so they are not grumpy for the rest of the day.

  • Pjkmitchell

I’d love to win this!! Thanks for the chance:) pjkmitchell at hotmail dot com

  • VKW

My son has struggled with sleep since birth and I have given up on sleep myself as a result. I hope to win this clock to make sleep a reality again! My fingers, toes and eyes are crossed in anticipation!

  • http://www.onlygreencanada.com/ Amanda

My husband has wanted a groClock (for our babies) since before our twins were born! It would be awesome to surprise him with it so he can give it to the kids :)

  • Helenparris

my nephew wakes during the night asking for snacks so that he can stay awake this clock would be perfect for him!! :)

  • Sylvia

Planning to get it, would be nice to get it free:-))

  • Lindsay

I have an almost 2 year old and almost 4 year old. I would love to try is for both my girls. They are very early risers.

  • Mushypeas888

Would love to give this product a try – my son will be transitioning to a toddler bed soon, and the idea of having a clock that is simple enough for him to understand would be fantastic!

  • Bobbydoo13

we want try this with are two girl

  • Bon

What a great idea!! I think I really need a groClock cause my 2 years old daughter keeps going to our room when she wakes up in the middle of the night. With the groClock, hopefully we can teach her when to get out of her bed.

  • Renato

We definitely need a GroClock as my little one wakes up early in the morning. Would love to win one!!

  • Lauren

We haven’t yet had issues with our little guy waking up too early, but I anticipate an escape artist once we have the big boy rails and not the baby crib rails up. This clock might just be what we’ll need.

  • Snuggle Bugz

Congratulations to the following winners of the three groClocks!
    Burlington Store: Shannon Sutherland
    Milton Store: Jennifer Bryer
    Blog Online: gibberish (Julie G.)

We will send you all an email in the next 24 hours letting you know how to claim your new groClock!

  • Lisa

My son is almost 14 months old and he is still sleeping in my bed with me. We skipped the crib altogether and I’m thinking that will make the transition into a big boy bed all the more difficult. This clock just might do the trick, and he does love books and stories! As a single mom I find it hard to get enough sleep, when we are ready i would love a grow clock!

  • Sarah

If my son continues his current crazy sleep schedule at 7 months, he will for sure need one of these wonderful gadgets as soon as he’s old enough to understand the concept!
