Thank you for your attention to this matter,
Our Clearance Centre Sales are usually held on the first Wednesday of EVERY month. HOWEVER, this month our Clearance Centre Sale will be on Wednesday, June 14th, from 10am-1pm. As always, we must stress that this is a CLEARANCE sale and not a warehouse sale. And as much as we would love to have you shop at one of our beautiful retail locations, the Clearance Sale will be taking place in our Clearance Centre at 1040 Sutton Drive, Unit #1 in Burlington.
Product inventory is limited – meaning once we are sold out, that’s it – and products are SOLD AS IS. ALL ITEMS PURCHASED AT THE CLEARANCE CENTRE ARE A FINAL SALE & CANNOT BE RETURNED TO ANY SNUGGLE BUGZ RETAIL LOCATION.
Here are some helpful hints so you know WHAT TO EXPECT at the sale:
1. Location. As mentioned above, the sale is at our Clearance Centre, not our store. 1040 Sutton Drive, Burlington. There is no street parking available for the sale.
2. Come On-Time. The doors open at 10am and will close promptly at 1pm.
3. Be prepared to wait. Come with a charged up phone and an expectation that there will be a line.
4. Dress for the weather. The line to get in is located outside, in our parking lot. Be sure to dress weather appropriate.
5. Food. Eat before you come, bring snacks and water.
6. Washrooms. We know we said bring water but we DO NOT have access to washrooms for public use. Please plan accordingly.
7. Strollers. This event is not particularly stroller friendly. Please leave any strollers in the car or at home and consider using a baby carrier if you are bringing your child with you.
8. Carrying your purchases. We do not have shopping carts, so come with free arms and hands.
9. Payment. We accept Visa, Master Card or debit only. Amex, Cash and Gift Cards are NOT accepted. All items are FINAL SALE.
10. Delivery. All items will need to be taken with you when you purchase. Please ensure you bring a vehicle that is capable of transporting what you hope to buy.
Please keep in mind that these products are sold AS IS. The inventory selection includes pieces that were floor models, discontinued items, items that have been opened or removed from their original packaging, etc. These are not items that you would find in one of our retail stores or online. All products are safe for use.
With expectations clearly set and helpful hints provided, your shopping experience at our June Clearance Sale should be that much better! We look forward to seeing you there!
It’s the day you have been waiting for – our annual stroller event is happening Saturday June 3rd from 10am-4pm!
Save the date and join us from 10am until 4pm at Snuggle Bugz headquarters – 1040 Sutton Drive, Burlington.
Stroller Day has easily become one of our most popular events and for good reason! It is a fantastic one-day only stroller extravaganza – a day completely dedicated to all things strollers and we have great deals to boot!
Here are some of the highlights of this annual one-day event:
- Amazing offers from our most popular stroller brands – available only at the event!
- Meet & greet with brand representatives on-hand to compare your favourites and answer all of your questions.
- Test drive your favorite stroller in real-life situations – grass, sidewalk, bumps and hills!
- A food truck! Yum – lunch date with your significant other?
- Buy a regular priced stroller and you will receive $50 in free accessories!
If you are a Stroller Day rookie or just in need of a Stroller Day refresher – we have put together some tips on how to get through the event with the absolute most fun:
Rain Rain, Go Away!
Not going to lie, we obviously would rather it be sunny and warm, but in the event that we cannot control the weather Gods, this event will happen should it rain. We have tents and umbrellas and an indoor area that will be our saving grace should it downpour. Fingers, toes, even eyes crossed the clouds hold back until 4:02pm. Dress according to the weather!
Avoiding the lineup is always a big question people ask! If you do not like lines than we don’t suggest coming first thing in the morning. This is usually where the morning early bird line forms. However, come as a team, especially if you have a young child with you. One person stands in line, while the other browses around, takes a break, or picks up a delicious treat from the on-hand food truck! If you don’t need to take your stroller home with you that day, it is usually best not to stand in line and skip some of the hustle and bustle! Usually by 2pm (nap time) things slow down till around 3pm. Then from 3-4pm there will be another last minute rush again!
Don’t panic if your stroller/accessory is not available to take home the day of the event. While we do our best to have as many strollers available as possible, we will run out of strollers at some point during the day. When this happens, you will be able to special order the stroller/accessory you have chosen and pick up or ship to you at a later date – estimated time of arrival of your special order will be determined at time of purchase.
Please note that this event we will only accept Cash, Debit, Master Card, and Visa. AMEX, and Gift Cards will not be accepted. Be sure to plan for this accordingly. We do not want any sad faces on Stroller Day!
Can’t make the event?
While the amazing promotional offers extended by our brands are only available at the event itself, you can still take advantage of receiving $50 in free accessories with the purchase of a regular priced stroller both in-store and online. If shopping online add your stroller and over $50.00 in accessories to your cart and check-out using coupon code SD201750 to receive $50 off.
*This promotion is valid only when a regular priced stroller is purchased in combination with $50 or more of stroller accessories. Offer valid on June 3rd online only. ALL SALES FINAL. Cannot be combined with other offers.
We can’t wait for June 3rd and hope to see all your smiling faces too! If you have any other questions you need answered before Stroller Day, be sure to leave us comment a below or chat with us on Facebook.
As a family of five, we have used our stroller almost every day for the past seven years, and I foresee us continuing to use it for at least another year or two. In the past we have relied upon our larger triple stroller for our Irish triplets, but as our kids are growing up, a quality, lightweight, convenience stroller is just the ticket. We recently test drove Maxi-Cosi’s new Kaia Stroller, and found it met all of our needs and more!
To start with, the Kaia is a beautiful stroller. I know we should only be concerned with the specs and safety (and of course, I’ll get to that!), but I had to start off here – you will love the look of this modern, sleek stroller. I love neutrals, so the special edition Sparkling Grey won be over immediately! Other cosmetic features that you’ll love are the huge under basket (the largest I’ve ever see on a compact stroller) and cup holder. With the nice weather finally here, I like to leave the house with my kids in the morning and not come home until dinner time, so having small features like this are a huge help.
There’s so much to love about the Maxi-Cosi Kaia. It folds up super easily and takes up very little space, It’s adaptable with an infant car seat, and suitable for kids all the way up to 50lbs. This little gem is the only stroller you’ll ever need, from birth until they’re out-running you!
As a tall mom, I have had such trouble finding strollers with handles tall enough as not to leave me hunching over and a frame that allow for my long stride. I’ve also heard this complaint from most dad’s I know! Yet this compact stroller sports higher handles and is shaped perfectly for a long stride. If you’re a petite mom, this won’t bother you at all, but for taller folks it’s a game changer.
Much lighter than my triple stroller, the Kaia comes in a 19lbs. Even though it’s lightweight it’s a very stable, solid stroller, unlike some compact and umbrella strollers on the market. For this next stage of life for us, with our babies growing up and always on the go, this stroller is a terrific option! It is strong enough to accommodate heavy usage (we rarely drive and use our stroller almost daily) and heavy kids! Our youngest still has 15lbs of wiggle room before she’ll outgrow the Kaia and even our older kids can use it if they get tired while we’re out. This is a reliable, affordable, and beautiful stroller! High five, Maxi-Cosi!
Preparing for your first – or a subsequent – baby can be overwhelming. Even if you’re relatively minimalistic or are trying to fit it all in your studio apartment, there’s still a lot to think about, and a lot to choose from. But where to start? I’ve linked some of the products we chose for our baby(ies) in the article below if you’re interested.
Well, let’s assume you give birth at the hospital or a birthing centre. You’ll need a way to get the baby home and a way to transport him or her. Depending on your living situation, that could mean different things. For us, we needed a car seat, a stroller that works with the car seat, and a baby carrier, wrap or sling. Your needs may be different depending on your family and living situation. If you don’t own a car you may not need a car seat, for instance.
Then once you get the baby home, you’ll need somewhere for them to sleep. For us this looked like a bassinet beside the bed for the first few months and then a crib after that. Some folks with larger master bedrooms move the crib right into the bedroom and skip the bassinet. Some families with less living space (think: Toronto and Vancouver) choose to go with a mini crib. If you plan to co-sleep, you’ll need to know how to do that safely and if there are any products you would like that will help (like an in-the-bed co-sleeper or something of that nature). We swaddled our first baby in a variety of products including Aden and Anais muslin swaddles, Summer infant Swaddlemes and the Woombie, all worth their weight in gold if it helps gain some much-needed shuteye.
Soon enough they’ll wake up (new flash – they’ll wake up screaming) and need to eat. We had what we needed for this as it was attached to my body but if you choose to formula feed, you’ll obviously need formula and bottles. You can choose whether you’d like a warmer and a sterilizer – some families choose them, some don’t. If you plan to breastfeed, you’re mostly good to go but it helps to have some nipple cream or ointment and a nursing pillow. You may want to consider bottles and a breast pump as well – often these products go together as the bottles work with the pump. A nursing cover is optional depending on your preference.
If you have two floors in your home, you’ll want a safe place to put the baby on each floor, like a playard or another bassinet or similar product. You might want to think about your bathing strategy (sink vs support in the tub vs bathe with the baby vs small baby tub) and how you’re going to get all their stuff around with you (like a diaper bag, for instance). Besides that, and some clothes, you can choose what else you’d like to have on hand. As they grow and your life with them evolves, you’ll realize additional things you need like teethers, pacifiers, toys, baby-friendly dishes, sippy cups, a highchair etc. I, myself, have driven everyone around me insane while trying to add decor to the baby’s room because it’s important to me that I enjoy being in there.
And last, but certainly not least, it’s important – especially if this is your first baby – to prepare your body. I know you’re tired and you’re busy and you’re sore but try and ensure you stay even somewhat active – my pregnancy activities of choice have been yoga and water workouts. I hated yoga as it’s not my style but I’m glad I forced myself to go. Water workouts are the bomb dot com while pregnant if you have one in your area. Plus you’ll get to hear all the locker room conversations from the 70/80 somethings who frequent these classes. It’s worth it just for that some days. Find the time to do something. Take your vitamins, make sure your iron levels are good, get an exercise ball, and ask your healthcare provider what you can physically be doing to prepare for labour.
Of course no matter what you do to prepare, you’ll find you’ve over-prepared in some areas and under-prepared in others (why did I buy 30 short sleeved onesies and only 2 sleepers?), so you’ll figure it out as you go!
