When picking out clothes for a new baby, parents look for quality, something that can be worn more than once (we can all attest to how fast babies grow!), and, lets be honest, looks awesome for those first pictures! When my second child was born, I was so happy to have a Juddlies Designs sleeper and hat for him to wear home from the hospital!
Juddlies baby clothes are made with pre-shrunk, amazingly soft 100% cotton and have generous sizing – fabulous for growing little ones. The sleepers have a convenient two-way (double) zipper, making the plethora of diaper changes much easier and non-slip grips on the feet for later on when baby starts to cruise around. The designs are basic, yet sweet with pocket detailing on the back and great colors to mix and match with the rest of baby’s clothes.
I often choose Juddlies sleepers and bodysuits from the closet first for my little guy, so they are well worn and washed constantly. I have, unfortunately, seen a small area of stitching unraveling in one of our bodysuits, but would still say the clothing is quite durable given the amount of wear and tear on my baby clothes.
Having dressed both of my babies in every brand under the sun, I can honestly say that Juddlies ranks high with this Momma; I would absolutely recommend the brand to other parents. My little man is happy and comfortable when wearing his Juddlies and my only wish is that I knew about it when my daughter was a baby!
We want to give away some Juddlies! You could win 1 of 3 Juddlies Fleck New Born Sets! They are: 1 blue fleck set, 1 pink fleck set and 1 oatmeal fleck set for 0-3 months.

As a mom of 3 I have used and loved many different carriers, slings and wraps with the kiddos, all at different stages, ages and activities. The one carrier I used for the majority of time is the Beco Carrier, especially once Baby #2 and #3 arrived. There are so many reasons to babywear and really I just wanted to be able to take advantage of all of them (bonding with baby, hands free carrying and so on…). I loved using my Beco Carrier, I used it all the time at home, work and on vacations.
For me it really was all about comfort. I loved that the carrier put all the weight on my hips as I struggled with comfort with some different carriers until I tried the Beco. It fit me perfectly and is adjustable so that my husband and I could both wear the same carrier and be just as comfortable in it.
Unfortunately I was out of the baby wearing stage when the Gemini came out… but believe me I actually considered having baby #4 just so that I could use this new model!! The Gemini had all the things that I wish my original Beco Carrier had while continuing with some of my favourite features:
Four different Ways to wear the Carrier (New feature)… very specifically baby on front but being able to face out. This is the one feature that I really love that was added to the Gemini, probably because my kiddos are so curious and wanted to be part of everything, looking out, observing the world, waving at the puppies as they walked by. With a couple little snaps on the front it easily converts from baby facing in to allow baby to face out.
Criss Cross back straps (Favourite Feature Continued)…. Although the carrier sits nicely on my hips and distributes the weight really well, being able to criss-cross the back straps relieves even more weight/pressure. Depending on a persons body style, different people prefer wearing the carrier with the straps in a regular backpack style or criss-cross. Personally I prefer the criss-cross but I have fitted many people who prefer the regular back pack style of the straps. I would suggest trying both ways, you will know right away which way fits you the best.
Ease of use (Favourite Feature Continued)… This carrier is so easy to put on… as again with other carriers I often struggled with getting all the straps to sit properly, and to tighten nicely. With the Beco Carrier I could easily slip it on and adjust all the straps with ease, without having to turn myself into a pretzel to be able to do so.
Long Wearing Weight options (Favourite Feature Continued)… I loved being able to wear my babies extended into the toddler years. There are many occasions that I wore my toddler girls on my back in full comfort. The Gemini has a weight allowance up to 35 lbs which allowed me to wear my 2 year olds in the carrier with absolutely no problem. This carrier was perfect for vacations as we could take a stroller and carrier and switch the kiddos around depending on the different scenarios. It was great to be able to adjust the carrier for the range in sizes of our babies and the positions in which to hold them on me.
So… why not win a Gemini Carrier and see for yourself why it was all the rage in my household!! All you have to do is in the tally below tell us about your first baby wearing experience. Good? Bad? Fun? A Nightmare? And, for an added entry, retweet our Beco tweet!

Mealtime with a toddler – need I say more. I’m all for family dinners, actually they are my most favourite time of the day, but a giant food mess at meal time-every meal time of late- makes our clean up a nightmare and the dreaded part of mealtime not the favourite part!
I can’t even count the number of times A’s bowl has flipped over or A has stuck his fork right on the edge of the plate resulting in the entire thing toppling to the floor. Perfectly minced, little baby bite size pieces everywhere!
But how much can I really complain? I mean, A feeding himself is an adorable, proud momma moment! But there HAS to be an easier way to get through the mess of toddler mealtimes!?
Enter the EzPz Mat! Game changer and basically a cleanup saver for my slightly neat freak self. These suction induced place mats make dinner time a breeze and clean up time even faster. The suction on these mats is unreal. I don’t have to worry about A lifting the bowl and tossing his dinner to the puppies. He couldn’t, even if he tried! Which he did. And I did. And my husband also did. It’s great!
It is impossible to pull up the sides of the bowl. The entire mat is suctioned to the surface below it. Sorry puppies, none of A’s food for your dinner anymore!
EzPz mats are also a BREEZE to clean. You literally just pick it up from the sides, dump any remaining food into the compost and give it a good rinse. You don’t have to worry about any left overs getting caught in crevasses, it literally just washes off. And the mat is wide enough that it covers A’s entire eating area. Very few of the left overs even made it onto the table – just amazing!
Also, I’m not sure how picky of an eater your munchkins are, but A is a huge fan of the food dividers. Having the three separate food compartments is great because he can pick which section he wants to eat first, not to mention no mixing of flavours, which my little man is not a fan of. Great dividers yes, adorable smiley face, double yes. I actually have so much fun arranging food and snacks in the EzPz mat because of how cute and delicious everything looks. Let’s not forget to mention the colour options. EzPz mats are available here www.snugglebugz.ca/happy-mats.html in bold and brilliant colours of lime, blue and coral or pink which trust me, your little messy eaters are going to absolutely love!
What do I love the most about these mats? How A can be part of dinner with the family, and not distant from us because of a high chair tray. He literally was wheeled RIGHT up to the table. They also work great in restaurants. You never again have to worry about what your little one is ACTUALLY eating off of that foreign restaurant table.
So we’re wondering. What do your messy meal time eaters look like? Share your dinner time photos with us on Instagram using the hashtag #EZPZYummies and tag @SnuggleBugzBaby for your chance to win an EZPZ mat! Contest closes March 12th2015 at 11:59pm. Rules & Regulations

Congratulations to @lyndsp27! You are the winner of our EzPz contest!
So you’re trying to decide between the Mountain Buggy Nano and the Phil and Ted’s Navigator and you can’t really figure out which one is right for you. Let us help!
If you’re looking for portability, hands down you want the Nano. Weighing just 13lbs and boasting a 51.5cm x 30cm x 56cm (20″ x 12″ x 22”) folded size, it’s hard to beat the portability and convenience of the Nano – especially when its folded size will fit in an overhead bin on an airplane!
What’s more is that, unlike many featherweight strollers on the market, it will accept your infant car seat, making it suitable from birth all the way up to 44lbs. For most popular brands of car seats, you don’t even have to purchase an additional adapter. A 2-position seat recline (with ventilation for those trips to warmer climates) helps your child to remain comfortable whether they are seeing the sites or catching some zz’s. While we’re on the topic of stroller naps, the flip out foot rest and large sun canopy with visor helps to further facilitate those naps on the go. The built in foot brake keeps the stroller from rolling into the Thames while you snap a photo of Tower Bridge and the lockable straight-or-swivel front wheels (6” and puncture proof might I add) makes your stroll down the Champs-Élysées a breeze. Finally, with the in-built rear wheel suspension, your little one will have a much smoother ride down the cobblestone streets of Rome.
So you’re like “well that’s all great, Sarah, but what if I have two kids?” Enter the Phil and Teds Navigator. This beauty is for the family who is encountering rougher terrain on their walks/hikes and needs something a bit more robust. First thing’s first, the Navigator will accommodate two children, either with two seats or with the 25 other riding options (including attaching car seats!). The 12” wheels on the Navigator (which you can lock for straight strolling if you like) skip over some of the bumps and terrain imperfections that a much smaller wheel would definitely notice.
One great feature of the Navigator is its amazing auto stop hand brake – it stops when you let go of the handle. No more having to stop and apply the brake for those short moments when you need to let go of the stroller. What’s more, because of the three wheel design of the stroller, you can easily “pop” curbs without a struggle.
So what do you think? Which stroller is right for your family?
