The steamer is great! But, in comparison to baby bullet, the actual food processor does not evenly puree complex textured baby foods well enough to meet baby needs beyond the first tastes. :( (Posted on 6/30/12)Quality Price Value - Excellent Review by Teach

This is by far the best gift I received. It is easy to use and it makes my food preparation for my little one very simple. I would give this as a gift to any new mom!! (Posted on 5/30/12)Value Quality Price - I like it but.... Review by CarrieD

I use my babycook all the time! Contrary to other reviews on another popular website, I do NOT have a problem with mold (and I live in a very, very humid environment where EVERYTHING molds). I just leave the steam lid off so it can dry out when I am finished with it, and make sure there is no standing water.Quality Price Value
I gave it 3 stars as there are a couple major design flaws. The first one is there is no timer, or automatic shut-off. You need to set a timer and be there when it goes off otherwise you'll oversteam those precious nutrients out of your Baby's food!
Second, you have to actually hold the blend button to blend, it doesn't have a swtich you can just switch and leave, you actually have to stand there and hold the switch when it blends. It's not really that big of a deal, but more of a pain in the butt when you have to hold the darn switch on for 5 minutes to puree my 6 month old's food! This problem won't be an issue when my Baby starts eating foods that have more chunks in it, but for now, it's a pain :(
I do however think it's adorable, I have the color Gypsy, it looks nice on the counter and doesn't take up a whole lot of room.
I would recommend it to a friend, but I'd also check out the competition model of steamers/blenders!
