Product Information

The new Britax B-READY stroller is a versatile, modular stroller that can convert from a travel system to a single or in-line double stroller. With 14 different configurations the B-READY stroller is adaptable to fit your needs. Featuring a reversible top seat with a weight capacity of 55 lbs, the B-READY introduces an industry first: a non-rethread, adjustable, 5-point harness system. An extra large canopy, 3-position recline, adjustable leg rest, and full suspension will ensure the travelling comfort of little ones. As an in-line tandem stroller, the second seat is certainly not an afterthought. With 4 recline positions, the second seat is appropriate from birth to 35 lbs. Perhaps most impressive is the fact that the second seat does not need to be removed to fold the stroller. A single step locks and unlocks both rear wheels. Caregivers will further appreciate the adjustable handle height and over-sized storage basket that is accessible from all four sides.
  • CLICK & GO integrated adapter system works with BRITAX CHAPERONE and B-SAFE infant car seats
  • Modular stroller with over 14 configurations accommodates multiple seat and infant car seat configurations

Love it!

Great piece of equipment. It can be pushed and steered with one hand on smooth ground. I get tonnes of compliments on it whenever we are out with it. Love how the stroller seat comes off and the infant car seat clips right in. Storage below is great, even the cup holder is nice. (I didn't think a cup holder was necessary, I was wrong!) Stroller seat itself is comfortable, my son falls asleep in there, and it reclines. The peel back flap on the hood so that you can check on your child is a nice feature. Cons would be size, it's big and sometimes difficult to fit in a smaller vehicle. It is expensive, but I have used cheaper ones and this one is far superior. You do get what you pay for!

Excellent stroller

We love this stroller as a single or a double. It's not small, but that is obvious. It manoeuvres well on different terrains, and my children are very comfortable. Love that it can fold with the seats attached.

Back wheels are too big & too wide!!

This stroller is too big. The wide wheels make it a pain to navigate through doors & indoor spaces (stores, restaurants, rooms). It is good for rough terrain though (snow, gravel). But I wish I bight the b-agile instead. We are now buying another stroller for everyday use since I simply can't carry this one upstairs or lift it easily. I would not recommend this.

I love it!

This stroller is all that you need. I purchased this while pregnant and love it.

It is easy to open and close, a little heavy, but nothing that isn't manageable!

I love the click and go technology with the car seat so my little one can stay snug as a bug!

The large under basket is amazing fits so much stuff, I imagine it will still be large enough with a second seat.

Love it!

I love this stroller. I have a two year old and a nine month old and this stroller worked out perfect for us. I did originally say I never wanted a double stroller, but this is nothing like those big bulky double strollers. It pushes like a single stroller. It folds easy (with some practice; I had some trouble at first folding the second seat down and taking it off) but now that I have the hang of it. it is awesome.

I would definitely recommend this stroller.

Great stroller

I've been using this stroller for 10 months now. It's transitioned really well from holding the infant seat to converting to a traditional stroller. My daughter loves it. I appreciate that I can still have her face me rather than facing forward. It's really easy to fold away, which I appreciate.

Best Stroller Ever!!!

We LOVE this stroller - it is so versatile and fits our life style. In fact, it is so easy to maneuver, I was able to have my daughter in the stroller and push the stroller through the airport with one hand, while at the same time pulling my suitcase and playpen with the other hand!
The only challenge we have is opening the stroller, it is easy, just not always the most conveniently placed - I found the handle ended up in the snow a few times.
From a price perspective, we liked the fact that we don't need to buy a whole lot of "extras" to make it into a double stroller - other ones we looked at would have cost over $1,000 after all the attachments etc were purchased.
I look forward to having this stroller for years to come as we bought it here at Snuggle Bugz to meet our growing family needs! HIGHLY Recommend!!!!

great investment

I love love love my britax stroller. When researching while pregnant I agreed that the versatility of this style of stroller (modular - can become double) was good. I picked britax because it was not as pricey as some other modulars but also had great ratings. I watched a million youtube videos....seemed like the best fit for me.

Now - I have the second seat - I have to say - it is a tad tight on head space (compared to other doubles I have seen) BUT if you use the regular seat on the top rather than the infant car seat - this problem is solved.

So far - durable and easy to manage as well. Fits nicely in mazda3 trunk.

Love this stroller

I've been using this stroller for nine months now and I still LOVE it! We've been through mud, grass, snow, and sand and it holds it own great! The real shocks are definitely a huge perk and the foam tires are awesome. It turns on a dime and is really versatile. I love that it works as a "snap and go" with the b-safe bucket seat making errands a breeze. Yes, the base is wide but having a massive basket is worth the space issue. The handle is adjustable to many heights and is very comfortable. We currently use it as a single but I'm certain I'll love it just as much as a double someday. It's the only stroller I have and the only one I need.

Good for price

This stroller was my second choice and the deciding factor was the price. I don't like that the second seat is low so that my child has a lousy view of the back of the other seat or the car seat. And I don't like that I cannot use the basket when my child is sitting in the second seat because they feel that it is crowded. I also don't like how wide it is and I don't like the cup holder that comes with it (hangs to the side and is easily knocked off if you're not careful). I also don't like that it only comes with a bar and not a cup holder for the child.

I like that the ride is smooth; it folds easily enough with the second seat attached; it was a wide canopy; the seat is comfortable.

Great

I absolutely love this stroller. Huge selling feature for us was that the car seat clipped into the base with out needing an adaptor, much more sturdy I found. Also this stroller is great for walks on trails etc. our daughter loves sitting high in the seat, and will go for long walks in this stroller compared to the other smaller one we own. This stroller is expensive but if you consider how long you will use it for its worth every penny!!

great stroller

I love this stroller, Its sturdy, drives nicely, easy to fold up and unfold. Easily steers with one hand, its got a decent size storage compartment in the bottom. I've only ever used it for 1 child, but I love that they can face in or out, and it takes no time at all to switch. My britax chaperone bucket seat was such a breeze to get in and out of the stroller. literally half a second.
My only two minor complaints are the cup holder that comes with it is garbage, throw it away immediately (and get the stroller organizer!), and the "lock" for keeping it folded up is flimsy, doesn't always catch. But two piddly little things. I would buy this stroller again definitely! Especially since I have the Chaperone bucket seat!

Great work horse

Love this stroller, tons of storage in the basket, folds easily, works great with the infant carseat as well as the toddler seat and I love that you can turn it to face out or in. I bought the Britax parent organizer for my drinks/phone/keys and it folds perfectly when attached. It is a heavy stroller but considering the storage and ability to become a double, I would expect it not to be the lightest.

I bought an uppababy vista snack tray which fits on perfectly since Britax does not make one for this stroller.

I think its much better made then the Chaperone stroller that i have.
I use the bottom seat with it and i dont like how you have to face the infant seat out if your using the bottom seat and then there is no hood to cover baby from the weather.
The basket is on the small awkward size so even if you dont need the second seat i would get one cause it makes it that much more functional for shopping lol
I like how when you're using it as a double it still feels like you are pushing a single!!

LOVE!

LOVE this stroller and can't imagine getting another one. I wish I had this stroller for my previous babies. I researched many strollers while pregnant, and my decision to purchase the B-Ready came down to the high back seat which will accommodate my baby. My husband is 6'5 and my children are always tall. Previous strollers my kids would outgrow the seat height wise before weight. Love the adjustable handle which is perfect for me and my husband to change according to our needs. This is a smooth ride for baby and cant wait to use this on daily walks once this snow melts. The canopy is large and will provide great protection. A bit pricey but well worth the cost.

Great but only if you are absolutely sure that it will be used as a double stroller

Bought this when expecting my first child and thought she would be stroller dependent when a second one arrived. I regret not buying a single stroller with a buggy board as my eldest (2 year old) now likes to walk a lot.

PROS
Relatively "small" compared to conventional double strollers
Easy to switch from car seat, bassinet, older child seat, etc.
Lots of undercarriage space that can take a lot of weight
Steers well even in snow
Can be folded with the regular seat on unlike the Bugaboo or other brands
Excellent customer service when problems occur

CONS
Heavy and HUGE when used as a single stroller
Older child will hate bottom seat position if you use the bassinet for baby
Folding and especially unfolding require two hands and are quite cumbersome
Buckle can be really stiff so you have to push really hard - watch out for little fingers that could get hurt if they get too close during buckling time

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!

Rides like a city select but more affordable. I think this stroller looks great, it functions FANTASTIC. My fave specs are:
* So smooth - baby sleeps over BIG bumps (thanks to rubber wheels)
* Huge storage compartment
* Easy-peasy fold and unfold...
* Yes, it's big but the big wheels snap off with the push of a button to fit into my teensy trunk.

All in all, best thing I bought for baby by far. I recommend britax b-ready to everyone. I can't believe I don't see more of these on the road - clearly just not as popular as city select or uppababy vista. Crazy when it's such a dream!

Great stroller

I have been very happy with this stroller. I have the Britax infant car seat as well and I love how easily the car seat snaps into the stroller. I especially love that I only need the base of the stroller while using the car seat and so it takes a lot less space in the trunk. I also love that I can face both car seat and the stroller seat both forward and rear facing. This allows my fussy baby to be able to see me and makes her much happier. I also like the large storage bin. It maneuvers very easily as well. My only complaint is that it is a bit of a bumpy ride on the city and residential side walks. I have yet to see how it goes in the snow, but I am worried that it will not be good in the snow. For this reason I would maybe have liked an all terrain stroller better.

Got more than my money's worth!

This is my second stroller, first Britax. I admit I suffered from a little bit of sticker shock, but that all went away after putting my then 9 month old in the seat! He took to it straight away! I love the fact that I can move the seat so he can face me, or face outward. The basket underneath is nice and roomy, and the stroller handles like a dream!
A couple of months after we bought the stroller, we found out we were expecting again, so we were very happy with our stroller choice.
We used the bassinet attachment and the second seat. Both were easy to install. My only misgiving about the rumble seat was that I had to give up a little bit of basket space. A small sacrifice to make for such a fantastic stroller! I highly recommend it :)

Versatile, lots of extras

We did lots of research when shopping for stroller, and ended up choosing this one (instead of Uppababy or City Select, which were the other front runners). We liked that we could add a second seat and that it maneuvered well (can do one handed). It also had great reviews. One of the deciding factors for us, was all of the "extra features" that come with it. It has cup holder and stroller bar, standard. It also does not need any adapters in order to attach the Britax B-Safe infant car seat. Though you do have to buy the second seat separately, it just attaches on (without needing to also buy adapters). On many of the other systems we looked at, these features we separate add-ons to purchase (which adds up).
It is large, and does take up most of our trunk. However, I expected that with a double system. Overall, we are very happy with this stroller.

One becomes two

We knew eventually we would be having two children so when we were having our first we looked at this stroller as it converts easily from a stroller for one to two. I researched many strollers online and in stores and this had the best features- modular, many configurations (using the car seat, toddler seat, bassinet and second seat option), has a large basket underneath (so important and often forgotten!) and easily closes and opens with one step not many steps like other strollers. This stroller is also very sturdy and durable. Other strollers we tried were cheap and flimsy. We are so happy that we bought this stroller as now we've had a second child and thus stroller easily holds both children and is a breeze to push. Whenever I'm out I have people commenting on how much they like my stroller and how convenient it is to have both my toddler and my baby in her car seat on one stroller!

Great Stroller

We got this stroller when Britax did their free car seat sale and it was well worth it. The stroller has been great to use since our son was born. Handy to have the bucket seat just click in, we had the bassinet and now the normal stroller seat. It folds up well. I find it large to use in stores but other than that it's great.

Overall great

My friend has this stroller, so when I started looking I started with the b-ready. I'm having my first baby so I (unlike my friend) wouldn't use this stroller as a double so for me I didn't need such a huge stroller. Thats the only think I dont like about the b-ready is it's size. I ended up going with the britax b-agile and I love it. I would recommend this if you have more then one child in a stroller but (depending on your lifestyle) it might be a bit much for just one.
The stoller is made like a britax so expect great quality!

Good stroller - if you have the space and don't mind the extra weight

I was devided between the b-agile and b-ready strollers but went with the b-ready because it has the option to have an additional seat (for when we have our second little one :p), the undercarriage basket can hold two large grocery bags with space to spare, it's more stable due to it's 4 wheels, it has great movability (it can turn around without difficulty in an elevator), it's a smooth ride and I love the britax travel system. Unfortunately, the stroller is pretty big (it takes up pretty much our whole trunk), it's heavier than most other strollers and the locking mechanism isn't very secure - it's a bit tricky to engage the lock with the stroller organizer attached. So far I have only used this stroller with the car seat.

Great stroller, great 's a bibrand!

We got this stroller after much research and since my sister was giving us her Chaperone car seat, it was extra incentive. The car seat clips right in and is sooooooo handy with a sleeping baby! No fussing, just clip that puppy in! I don't drive, so when I was on mat leave, I went for a lot of walks with my son and the bassinet (which I see is no longer available for some reason) was freaking AMAZING!!! I highly recommend it if you can get your hands on one. He slept in there snug as a bug even in the winter all bundled into his cocoon. The best part was coming home from a walk, having him still asleep, just unclipping the bassinet from the stroller and putting him in whatever room I was in until he woke up. Once he got too big for the bassinet (sad day!) he moved on to the seat, which is very comfortable! He can recline quite a way and falls asleep in there regularly. My only annoyance was that there was no snack tray for the B-Ready! HOWEVER!! Someone tipped us off that the Uppababy Vista snack tray fits It so we got one and problem solved!!!! The basket is massive, which is convenient for trips to the grocery store on foot or shopping. Love that the handle height is adjustable so 5'4 me can push comfortably as well as my 6'2 husband. It's a bit of a monster to haul into your trunk, but all the strollers comparable to this are heavy. It folds super easy and unfolds even more easily! The canopy is nice and big and the fabric is super durable and easy to clean. Even pretty big crusties wipe away easily. It still looks brand new after a year. I had some issues with the wheels and the company sent me new ones lickety split! That's the best part about Britax, their customer service is phenomenal. They don't even grill you, you have a problem, they're there to fix it and make you happy! It's one of the reasons I've bought other Britax items. On the whole, super stroller!!! Rolls like a dream, looks great and so versatile!

Fun Stroller!

We've been using this stroller for 4 months and I love it! The basket is huge and is great for grocery shopping. It takes a little getting used to using but after a few weeks it is easy to fold/unfold. It is a heavy stroller but you have to remember that it has to support 2 children if used as a double. It is also incredibly handy to be able to take the seat off when you are using the carseat on the base and the frame takes up a lot less room in your trunk. I wish there was a tray option instead of just the lap bar but that's my main complaint. The one hand steering works really well with the carseat on the base, but is more difficult when putting a larger child in the actual stroller seat, but is still much better than the average stroller.

LOVE this stroller!

My husband and I went out and tried out a LOT of different strollers while I was still pregnant. Some advice i'd gotten from other moms was that the one thing that you will regret cheaping out on is your stroller, specially if you are planning to have more then one kid. So we checked out everything, mostly the convertible strollers as we planned to have kids close together. It turns on a dime and so smoothly. its quick and easy to assemble and collapse and it has so so many possibilities, add to that the great brand of britax and you know you cant go wrong :)

Great stroller

I LOVE my Britax. It can look bigger than others, but it's not. The infant car seat clips in just right which makes it easy to shop with with a sleeping baby. The wheels are also very smooth and can roll over snow and sand. The only thing is that it is a little heavy and you need both hands (and a big trunk) when opening this stroller, but I have never regretted. The wheels also last a long time.

Best stroller yet!

I bought this stroller after I found out I was pregnant with my fifth child, and had already gone through multiple strollers, single and double. This stroller handles wonderfully! It is a dream to push, my toddler loves climbing into it and will sit in it for the entire time, no matter where we are. My husband enjoys pushing this stroller as well since the handle moves high enough up for him to comfortably push it. The basket is perfect for my large amount of stuff that I haul around.

Great Quality

Got this stroller a couple of months ago and I love it! I love the concept and quality of it. I had done a lot of research before buying this specific stroller and I have to say that I am not disappointed whatsoever. I wanted a stroller that could easily work in rougher terrain as it does on smooth surfaces. I also really like the fact that you can easily change the car seat to the actual stroller seat and add the second seat at the bottom.
Definitely recommend this stroller!

Love this stroller

We got this stroller to complement our B Safe car seat. It was easy to put together, and looks great!

We have only used the car seat with stroller component yet, but it is easy to clip in and remove the car seat. For the size of the stroller, it does fold quite compactly into the hatch of our suv (our dog still fits in the back too).

We do a lot of wheeling on gravel and grass, and it is very rugged and robust (though not as much as the bob strollers--it also isn't as big).

The biggest downside to the stroller is the cost, but it is less costly than the comparators (city select). Otherwise, I would love it to have a bassinet component (available in the USA, but doesn't meet Canadian height standards), maybe they will fix this feature in the future.

Britax B-Ready Stroller

I would recommend this stroller to anyone who wishes to use it for one or two children. I have had no issues and my child is very comfortable in it.
The storage area is huge - great for shopping - and I love that you have the option to have them facing you, instead of out.
The only negative is that the rear wheels are a little wide, overall.
I also like that the seat sits slightly higher than normal - this makes for feeding in the stroller easy.
I have had some difficulty navigating in smaller areas.
Otherwise, it's easy to fold, get in and out of the car, and is comfortable!

Wouldn't want another stroller

I love our stroller! We had the previous model, and are upgrading to the 2012! The only thing it doesn't have, is a smaller size - BUT - the bigger size is what gives it so many pluses and perks. I love to go for walks, and this stroller is great for that! My kiddo is comfy (and with the extra incline on the 2012 will be even happier!), and I have lots of room to store stuff in the basket. When kiddo was a newborn and we used her car seat in the stroller, the frame fit great in our compact car/compact SUV and was a breeze to unfold and fold.

We have a second seat, and I can see why some kids might hate being behind, but my daughter actually is very content! Definitely going to depend on your kid - but she enjoys just sitting there checking things out around her (she is the type of baby who likes facing us most of the time - so glad we bought a stroller where the seat can face either way!). Having the ability to add a second seat is a total plus. Makes the stroller super costly adding on all these pieces, but it's been worth it for us.

I would recommend this stroller to anyone who is going to use the stroller a lot for walks. I'm not a jogger, so there was no point in a BOB - but this stroller is definitely a walker's version of the high end jogger's BOB.

Great full size stroller

We were deciding between the uppababy vista, city select and the britax b-ready. We were very happy with the choice for the following reasons:
Great rubber wheels on the 2012 model
Four recline levels that we use all the time
Great sunshade with magnet peekaboo window
Second rumble seat goes underneath instead of facing us
Great colour options
The handle has a grip in the middle that makes it really easy to steer one handed.

I have to say the sale price we paid was the cheapest I have found to date and when the order arrived it was exactly what I wanted, it does everything it claims to. My daughter loves this stroller and when the baby comes she will fit in as well!! I'm super happy with this purchase.
I do wish it came with a few extra accessories like toddler cup holder or front tray or better yet the bar attachment for the second seat/bucket seat.

Awesome!!

Love this stroller! Loads of room underneath, easy to handle both on pavement and snow, folds easily, easy to clean. I researched loads before settling on this stroller and am super happy with it. A bit pricy, but very much worth it. My son gets excited when he sees the stroller!

Great in concept, not in practice

My kids hate this stroller. I have twin boys and who ever has to sit in the back/bottom seat throws a fit!
Worked very well with the 2 car seats while they were younger. Folds up well enough and small enough considering its a double stroller.
I would not recommend this to a friend.
