We love our new frontier car seat! My 2.5 year old loves cruising around in it, she moved from her advocate 65 in cowmooflage to this one as her brother took over her other one. It's a little bigger looking than the picture looked but its super cute, comfy, easy to install and use and we know it has the highest safety standards! This is my 3rd Britax seat and as always it is a great seat, really happy it now comes in cow print as he was in the Marathon in cow print and I wanted it to be an easy transition from his old seat to his new one and his younger sister moving into his old seat . this is a great seat (my older daughter has one) it's easy to install (properly) which is a big deal, I have tried other brands and found them very hard to install properly and ultimately thrown them away, Britax offers a seat that is easy to install and has one of the highest safety ratings as seats go, overall I would recommend this seat to anyone , Snugglebugz got my seat to me very quickly was a great experience all around (Posted on 10/20/12)Value Quality Price - Love it Review by feebs

Stylish, comfortable, ease of use, easy to clean. All get 5 stars. All three of my children own Britax seats. We chose the Frontier because it was lighter than other brands, had two cup holders, and had already owned a Britax (Marathon) which seemed to be comfortable for the girls. As a CRST I know the importance of keeping children rear facing for as long as possible. Britax knows this too and therefore lists a minimum of age 2 and 25 pounds on the Frontier XT. Referred to as a Combination Seat, it offers a 5 point harness and later converts to a highback belt positioning booster seat. With 20 inch top slots and a maximum harnessing limit of 65 pounds, it allows for the longest harnessed use of any seat currently available in Canada. Once a child is at least 40 pounds, is at least age 4, and is mature enough to stay in position the entire trip (no leaning, reaching, slouching or unbuckling) the seat can be converted to booster mode. As a booster seat it extends taller than any other booster currently available in Canada and allows for use up to 120 pounds. This means that all children can remain in a highback booster until they pass the 5 Step Test and are ready to use an adult seatbelt (usually around 4'9" tall, and typically between age 8 and 10). The Frontier XT offers a 9 year lifespan making it a seat that can truly get a child from age 2+ to an age where an adult seatbelt can safely be worn. It offers user friendly features such as push-on UAS connectors, and a twist free 5 point harness. It is a roomy seat with adequate padding and high quality fabrics. Kids like the built-in cupholders and fun pattern choices. As with all car seats, the Frontier XT is extremely safe if installed and used correctly each and every trip. My daughter loves her new "cow seat" and I have been extremely happy with my purchase. The price was great, and shipping was fast and friendly. Thanks again, Snuggle Bugz! I am so pleased with my Frontier XT. It is great for my little escape artist. The straps are wonderful they stay in the appropriate place. It is easy to tighten them so that child is securly in and I LOVE that the buckles where everything attaches has a protective area so no more pinching when we do up the buckles.
