Love this seat!

I did a tonne of research before purchasing this seat and it definitely paid off. I love everything about this seat.
1) COMPACT. It actually takes up less space then my infant carrier
2) QUALITY. The materials they use are far superior then many of the seats I have seen. Also, LO felt that he needed to spit up on his first ride and the spit-up just pooled on the bottom of the seat and easily wiped up!
3) ANTI-REBOUND BAR. I think all car seats should have this safety feature
4) NO RETHREAD HARNESS
5) ADJUSTABLE SIP. It also holds there head up when they are sleeping. So no floppy heads.
6) EXTENDED REAR FACING CABALITIES. LO is only 8 months but there is a lot of room to grow and I know this seat will likely get him to his 4th birthday rear facing!

This seat is definitely worth every penny!

Love, love, love so far

This seat is a palace for babies. So comfortable looking, lots of cushion, easy to install in the vehicle, and easy to tighten on baby. My ten month old hasn't complained once!

I highly recommend this seat for rear facing and am sure I will recommend forward facing too... once it's time to switch our daughter around.

Everything we wanted in a car seat!

Love how this seat fits in our vehicles, especially rear facing. My son still has lots of room for rear facing (currently 19 months). We find it easy to clean and my son is very happy in it. We will be buying another for baby #2 no question!

I purchased this car seat for my 10 month old. Its easy to install and so easy to adjust. I love how you can adjust the height of the straps so easily. When my son falls asleep his head stays nicely up and doesn't fall over. Good buy for sure!!

The right choice

We had a hard time choosing between this and the Diono Radian XT. We used the Peg infant seat, so we were familiar with the brand. In the end the store was sold out of Diono the day we went to buy it, and I couldn't be more happy that they were! We love our Peg. It fits our daughter comfortably, it reclines, has the kick back bar, and most importantly doesn't take up that much room! My friend got the Diono and there is barely room for a passenger in her SUV. With the Peg there is plenty of leg room for a passenger in our wagon. We even bought a second one a couple months ago. I am really happy with this car seat.

Look No Further!

I was in debate about purchasing a car seat for a long time, it was between this fabulous car seat and a Britax Boulevard. I have the Britax Chaperone Infant seat and love it and thought I would always stick with Britax until the Peg came on the market. I am happy with the choice I made! My daughter is happy in this seat also, which is a big deal. It is ultra safe, easy to install, fits my small SUV, has lot's of leg room for her rear facing, is stylish and more. No need to look any further, this is such a great car seat!

Best carseat!

I really did my research when trying to pick a carseat and although this one was a bit higher in price than what we wanted to spend, we decided to buy it given the high quality reviews it received. We also attended a carseat class and the instructor agreed that this was one of the best carseats she has had experience with, which made me feel certain about our purchase.
After using it for about a year now, I am so happy we went with this carseat, as it is easy to install, easy to clean, comfortable for our daughter, and fits well in my little car. The Foonf didn't even fit in my husband's 4x4 Dodge truck, whereas the Peg has no problem at all in either vehicle.
The only drawback to this carseat is that it doesn't have a cup holder and you can't purchase it separately, which is unfortunate as we have to place her cup in her lap, where her toys are, and so she will tend to toss it aside. But that's pretty minor given how fantastic the rest of its features are.
We love this seat so much, we bought another one for baby number two who is on the way!

Newborn to Booster, Highest RF Limit in Canada

I don't even know where to start with this seat. It's simply AMAZING. I love peg car seat, my daughter was in her infant seat by peg well past one, and then graduated into this seat (Lucky for us she lasted right until the released the convertible in Canada).
We've had this seat for almost a year now, and it's a dream. We have it rear facing still (Daughter is almost two) and I will rear face her until the limits of the seat. Which brings me to my first point, this seat rear faces until 45 pounds! That is the highest rear facing limit in Canada! It's fabulous.
Another point, this seat is so easy to install and even fits in my small car (2008 Chevy cobalt),
The seat look comfortable and with the removable padding even fits newborns well (Makes it well worth the money when you can use it right from birth to booster readiness.)
The no-rethread harness is always an amazing bonus and the fact that it adjusts at the top of the seat will make it so easy once they forward face.
Different reclining positions for different ages.
Fabric washes well and looks great.
Now one small issue was pin holes in the fabric being created by the anti-rebound bar in rear facing, but I contacted Peg and they sent a replacement cover free of charge.
Another thing I love about this seat: is just how amazing it looks. It fits right in with the leather in the back of our BMW and my husbands Mercedes. Also it just looks and feel extremely comfortable, my daughter falls asleep in it all the time, even on short rides.
This seat is worth the money and you won't regret buying it, promise.

Great seat

We did our research before we purchased this seat. I like that you can adjust the height/straps as your child grows without having to re tether the straps. It's is easy to instal, at first we were transferring it between cars but bit the bullet and bought a second seat.
We were so happy with this seat that we two!
So far no complaints with this seat.

Great higher-end car seat

The Peg Perego Convertible car seat so far fits our 22.5 lb, 31" tall son very comfortably. We have owned it for 4 months now.
Pros: Very easy to spot-clean, cover is completely removable and machine-washable, quality fabric that seems to keep our son a bit cooler than other seats we tried, harness easy to adjust (although not as easy as the chicco keyfit infant car seat), well-padded without unnecessary bulk, feels sturdy, easy to install with UAS
Cons: Pricey for the weight range of 5-65 compared to other convertible makes, head rest difficult to adjust up/down when child is seated (even though instructions say it is possible), shoulder straps a bit wide-set for smaller babies, probably cannot fit three in a row in most cars, leveling the seat can be tricky (most cars will require placing a pool noodle or towel under the seat as per instructions)

great for extended rear facing!

I love this car seat. My son is 28 months and 37" tall and he fits comfortable rear facing in this car seat. It was easy to install and the adjustable head rest and straps is super easy to use. Wish I had this carseat from day 1 its so much better than my britax roundabout

It even fit in our hatchback!

We were getting desperate trying to find a convertible carseat to fit rear facing in our little 2003 Hyundai Accent hatchback. We tried everything under the sun, and finally came across this beautiful car seat that has a bit of a short shell. It was the first car seat that actually fit, with room to spare! My husband is 6'1 and I'm 5'7" and we both have our seats in a comfortable position. The anti-rebound bar is up and installed correctly, and there's still an inch between the back of the car seat and the back of our seats. And still, if we wanted to be ever so slightly uncomfortable, we could reduce the recline on our seats by one notch and get another inch clearance.

The seat was REALLY easy to install. It took about 10 minutes with our lap belt. We found a video online that shows how to install any rear facing car seat using your torso to (safely) force the carseat into the back of the seat while simultaneously tightening the seat belt. It is so secure and snug in there.

The quality of the seat is top notch! We were going to try out the Britax Marathon, but hated the old grandma couch look of the fabric. This seat (made in Italy!) has gorgeous modern looking fabric that can still be removed and washed in your washing machine at home. We bought the crystal red, and it's absolutely beautiful in person.

We'll be using this seat from birth, and it looks like it will fit an infant well. We also found lots of reviews online that said the recline is perfect and baby's head never slumps forward. Can't wait to try it out with our little one!

Good product!

Have been very impressed with this product! I also have the Diono RXT and my little one's head would slump forward when asleep in it, this does not happen in the Peg-Perego!
Love the ease of the strap-adjustments, as well as the ease of the tilt feature. My little one loves the fact he is slightly higher in this seat (see out the windows).
Definitely recommend this product.

Love it

I bought my second one of these car seats, as I love it and the first one was in a car accident. Luckily my son wasn't there, so I don't know how it would hold up with him in it. My son looks comfy in it (can't know for sure, he can't talk yet!).

Excellent Car Seat

This seat has a very large rear-facing footprint so if you have a smaller sedan like a VW Jetta (our second car) forget it, this seat won't fit. But it fits beautifully in our Mazda 5.
Like most high end seats the Peg allows you to keep your child rear-facing longer, which was very important to us.
I love the look and function of this seat. It has clean lines and is easy to use. My daughter is so happy in this seat and she even has a little more leg room because of the rebound bar.
I could see if you have a wee baby in this seat you may need smaller after market strap covers because they are quite large. But for my one year old they are just fine.
We replaced an older Britax Marathon with this seat and I couldn't be happier.
The staff are amazing and really know their stuff, car seats cost the same at any store so I suggest sticking with SB based on customer service alone.

Love it!

I bought this car seat because of ratings and style. It looks awesome (bought in licorice) and my son loves it! Easy to install, sleek look, comfortable, and the fabric is amazingly soft and comfortable. Would buy another in a heartbeat.

Great seat!

This seat was so easy to install and our daughter loves it. I wasn't keen on the look if the rebound bar at first...but it contributes to its safety and you actually don't even notice it once it's installed. We bought the black seat, not in leather and it looks great. It's a bit smelly for the first day or two, so you might want to crack the windows. All in all we couldn't be happier with another quality Peg purchase.

You get what you pay for!

The Peg convertible car seat is great. The quality is what you expect from Peg Perego, but most importantly my daughter's head NEVER flops to the front when she fall asleep. It's currently rear facing in our car and it takes no space compared to our Britax. The seat is more compact and light again compared to the Britax. The straps are easy to tighten once the child is seated. It's a bit on the pricy side but you get what you pay for!

excellent top quality

AS I WROTE ON FACEBOOK:

I have both the Peg convertible and the Britax G3 Advocate.... I personally love the peg more I find it way easier to put my big guy in and out of since he's rear facing.... Also the straps seem a lot easier to tighten (I'm not weak it's just a fact as the Advocate is the 'click' strap series)

Installation
The installation is a breeze (I called Peg to make sure the teether didn't need to be used rear facing!).... The rebound bar is not huge nor does it get in the way of anything

The Advocate needs to be teethered rear facing (also suggested by some car manufactures)... I have it installed in an Acura MDX (big SUV) and it was hard to loop the teether under the front seat ....

Size
They are about the same.... Except the advocate is wider with the extra side protection on the outside of the seat (Peg also has them but they are on the inside of the seat)

I have the Peg installed in an Acura RDX (similar size as a Honda CRV/ Nissan Rogue) the Peg does not hit the back of my front seat but in my hubby's truck the Advocate hits the back of his seat

The look
Hands down the Peg is beautiful looking (leather or not)Britax fabrics look like grandma's sofa (yes i know this doesn't matter but its just my opinion!)

Also the strap system with the Britax 'hugs' is at times hard to use with a smaller child (my guys 9mths old but 31inc ... We had to change from infant carrier to convertible seat).... My hubby noticed the strapping system in the Britax is not loose enough and the hugs are difficult to adjust

Peg does not have those issues... At times i pull the straps from behind the seat to get a snugger fit

I could go on and on.... because this is a top seat and I wish I would not have bought the Britax :(

Great seat

I just bought this seat after trying a few different brands out and there and I have to say it is the only seat when it is rear facing my child's head isn't leaning forward when he falls asleep in the vehicle. I know it is a little expensive but if you bought there infant car seat it is only $50 more and you can use it much longer and it is the only seat on the market that goes up to 45 lbs rear facing.
